Dr. Lawrence Jules Fogel, MD

Dr.Fogel is an amazing migraine doctor. He is VERY easy to talk to and he has a VERY sympathetic ear when it comes to migraine pain. He helps the patient understand the triggers and the aftermath of a migraine. Not just any doctor can do that, I have searched throughout my PPO Anthem Blue Cross and even paid cash in my search for relief and nobody comes close to Dr.Fogel’s kindness & expertise

I was suffering from disabling sciatica when I sought out Dr. Fogel. X-rays and MRI did not identify an obvious cause so Dr. Fogel did a through work- up using a graded approach. This took time and the suffering was nearly unbearable. When he concluded where he thought the pain was originating, he ordered a spinal injection. He hit the spot exactly and my back pain was resolved. As if this were not enough, thanks to Dr. Fogel’s through work-up it was also discovered that I had bladder cancer which was caught early and also treated. Dr. Fogel literally saved my life.

Very professional. I have always been very satisfied with the care and attention that I have received from the Doctor and staff.

It's not a popularity contest; it's about expertise. Dr. Fogel's got it . He's compassionate, thorough and decisive. You may have to wait a bit for that.

I have seen Dr. Fogel for several years. I'm an acute migraine sufferer and he immediately diagnosed the type of headache, the cause over time, and prescribed the right medication. He is very thorough and follows up after any injections. Holly, the secretary is very personable and takes interest in every patient. I highly recommend this doctor if you are looking for someone who is highly knowledgeable in this field.

Great doctor, spent a lot of time with me, even though the waiting room was full of other patients. Really helped my problem. You have to wait, but it is worth it.

This 'doctor' is supposed to know how to examine a new patient. Apparently he never learned to do this, or forgot the day I was there.

maybe he just needs to retire or something. He seemed to have selective hearing syndrom. Never acknowledged pain to the touch on my spine. Never showed my my x-ray and after telling me i had deterioration of the disk and arthritis and was very young for that I couldn't get any valuable information from him. He didn't seem to care for my related inquires or concern.his proceedure code processor took way way to long (9 days) kept telling me tomorrow blaming my file was behind his locked office doorhad to wait for him to finish an appointment for him to give me $5 change from my co-payment. Only he give change.I don't think he trusts him emplyees with money or unlocked doors. Maybe for good reason but shouldn't be my problem. I heard he was one of the best. Maybe at the science but not at being cognisent caregiver. Afer the experience I hear the same from others that have sen him. A lady I work with even wrote him a nasty letter once due to her disatisfaction.
