Dr. Gregg Allen Feinerman, MD

Unfortunately, I still suffering from severe dry eyes since Dr. Feinerman performed LASIK on me. I am over the recovery period. However, I am still using eye drops many times throughout the day. There are days when I experience eye pain. I am still seeing glares/halos/ghosting. I am currently on a costly and extensive dry eye treatment to maintain my quality of life (autologous serum tears, Lipiflow, Xiidra, punctual plugs). Although he does a lot of influencer marketing and things look great and successful online, as a regular person, this was not the case for me. Instead of taking ownership of my complications, he and Dr. Reimers kept telling me my eyes were fine (only gave me Xiidra and punctual plugs), and that I should be patient and wait until they heal. Xiidra and punctual plugs did not work for me because my nerves were severely damaged from LASIK. There was a 3-month gap between the day of my initial consultation and surgery. Since it had been 3 months, they should have… made sure that my eyes were still fine to perform surgery on. There was literally no check-up of my eyes that day. In fact, I did not see Dr. Feinerman until I was in the surgery room. This makes me question whether I was still even a good candidate. One thing you should all keep in mind is that most treatments for dry eyes are not covered by insurance. I am a government employee and therefore have top notch insurance. However, I cannot get these dry eye treatments (except Xiidra and punctual plugs) covered since insurances do not consider dry eyes a medical condition. Check with your optometrist and see what they say.

My friend went to Dr. Feinerman and was "pretty happy" so we decided to go because he was local. His office was filled with items that advertised how wonderful he was. When he came in the room he was actually flexing his muscles in the mirror rather than listening to what we were saying!! When all was said and done he charged us a crazy amount for items that were "needed, but not covered by our insurance"!! We ended up with no improvement in our daughter's condition and went to another doctor who basically laughed at the treatment provided by Dr. Feinerman and said, "that's par for the course with him"!! Our new doctor diagnosed and cured our problem in one visit. While Dr. Feinerman is a smooth talker, he's basically all smoke and mirrors. I've now come to find out that most doctors I know feel the same way about him!!!!! How does someone like this stay in practice???

Dr. Feinerman has been my doctor for years. Whenever I come in, his staff is always friendly and accomodating. I had problems with my contacts, but Dr. Feinerman took a look and gave me eyedrops; now my eyes are fine.

My internist referred me to Dr. Feinerman for a eye exam. The office staff were very helpful in getting me an appointment quickly, because I was concerned my vision was deteriorating. Dr. Feinerman performed a thorough eye exam and discovered I had glaucoma. I was devastated by the news, but he reassured me I would do well and not go blind. That was my greatest fear. I had lots of questions, and Dr. Feinerman answered every one of them... I spent an hour or more with him before deciding to do a laser to help fix my problem... He never made me feel bad for asking questions.Dr. Feinerman performed a laser procedure to prevent further glaucoma damage. It was quick and painless. My vision is much better! Apparently, before the laser my eye pressure was high and caused me to have glow around lights at night. After the laser my problem went away. The glow around lights is completely resolved. Thank you Dr. Feinerman!

The entire staff at Feinerman Vision Center was very courteous and supportive throughout my whole lasik procedure. They were very understanding of my concerns prior to the surgery, and gave me excellent feedback for all of my questions. Dr. Feinerman did a thorough job of explaining each step of the process and what methods he would be using before, during, and after. My decision to have lasik surgery from Dr. Feinerman changed my life for the better! I can't believe how something so quick and painless can have such a great impact on someone's life. Thank you, Dr. Feinerman.

I visited Dr. Feinerman because of trouble seeing when driving at night. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I only waited about 10 minutes before they performed various high tech scans on my eyes. The technician suggested I may have the beginning of cataracts... But she said Dr. Feinerman would examine me and determine the cause of my vision problem.I watched an educational video, and then the doctor (Dr. Feinerman) examined my eyes. He was very friendly and informative. Dr. Feinerman informed me that I did indeed have cataracts. He reassured me that the surgery was generally easy and I would probably see well soon after surgery.Well, I had the crystalens procedure done and it was a breeze! I got up off the table and could read the clock across the room. I have never seen better in my life. Now I can drive at night without any difficulty.

I went to Dr. Feinerman because he is an expert with the crystalens implant. I had coke bottle glasses and could not see well near or far. I couldn't read without reading glasses and my contact lenses on at the same time.The surgery was easier than getting my teeth cleaned! I got up off the table and could read the clock across the room! I looked out the window and could read the names on the boats in his Newport Beach surgery center.Now I can read menus and see far away without glasses! Thank you Dr. Feinerman.
