I think that Dr. Kwok is an excellent doctor. He makes you feel at ease and makes sure that you are comfortable before, during ,and after your procedure. He even check up on your progress. His office makes sure that you are very well informed on what is going on with your body. And what to expect.

Must be very good, because he's so hard to schedule. Very thorough on tests and analysis, very short on explaining results and final committal answers.

I left both appointments with this Dr very dissatisfied. He never looked at me once - the first appt he spent the whole time with his back to me while talking to me over his shoulder. I felt like he never listened to anything I said- I kept asking him if he wanted to see the paperwork I had brought with me but he declined. I came back for a follow up visit due to blood work I had done - but he was just as withdrawn and uninterested the second time. I am going to keep looking for a better GI dr out there - one who has basic social skills and can give eye contact to his patients.........

He was in a rush and not really interested in listening to what I had to say. He kept trying to cut me off when I was trying to tell him what the problem was, apparently you are only allowed one problem per visit and you get about 1 minute of his attention before he's trying to get you out the door. He barely examined me and passed me off to another doctor. He prescribed one medication and told me to take one over-the-counter med. Apparently, the timing of when to take them relative to each other was important as one can affect the other, he was too busy to tell me this, it was the pharmacist that told me. He didn't even give me the Rx, his assistant did, so I was unable to ask questions or get directions. She also gave me a sample of the OTC but it wasn't in a bag, so I'm there walking around with a box declaring what the issue is. I had to wait for his assistant to get me the Rx and while I was in the waiting room a nurse(?) was going over a procedure/prep with another… patient. What happened to patient/doc confidentiality? I don't need to know what this guy's having done and what he has to do to prep. The doctor was supposed to give me a referral, he/his assistant forgot, so I had to go back. Plus, he wrote down something that was not my reason for being there as my reason for being there, it was like he didn't even listen.

Great Doctor. Him and his assitant are always caring and willing to help. Hard getting in to see him becuase he is so busy. But highly recommended
