would give him 0 stars if i could, he did surgery on my mother’s foot and absolutely botched it. Over 5 years later she’s still in pain and had to schedule another surgery on the same foot, this surgeon said that they could only do so much and she’s lucky not to loose her foot because Gregory Pomeroy did such an awful job. He shouldn’t be in business and we should’ve taken legal action when we had the chance.

My husband recently had an ankle fusion, which is a tough surgery. However, with Dr. Pomeroy’s surgical expertise, follow up care and guidance, the surgery was a total success and my husband and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. His practice is a like a well-oiled machine that starts with a knowledgeable front end staff and follows through to caring, kind medical assistants, nurses and physicians. My husband is “amazed” at how good his ankle feels! For a positive, quality experience, we would highly recommend Dr. Pomeroy to anyone needing orthopedic surgery!!

I had surgery on my foot one year before I saw Dr. Pomeroy. For that year (after supposedly recovering from the surgery), I couldn’t wear a shoe. My foot was discolored and swollen. My first surgeon said I might’ve been rejecting the metal in my foot, but I had to give it a year. At the one year point, my first surgeon said he didn’t know what was wrong. I was then — thankfully!! — referred to Dr. Pomeroy. On my first visit he realized my foot was set wrong. He also discovered a significant bone infection. After lengthy treatment and a few surgeries by the best doctor ever, I can walk again. I can wear shoes. I’m very grateful I was referred to him and didn’t settle for the other surgeon. Dr. Pomeroy is my angel. Dr. Pomeroy is the best!

Dr Pomeroy, did surgery on my ankle. My Achilles needed to be repaired. 4 months later I was back to a spin cycling class. After six months I am completely finished with all treatments. I highly recommend this amazing Doctor if you are thinking of surgery. Thank You Dr Pomeroy.

The Good Doctor Pomeroy was my second opinion Doc after a first ankle surgery left me in constant pain. He appears to be a gifted surgeon and his bedside manner deserves its own TV series. Recovery is sort of house arrest with extra vitamins. But it works. All in all, I shall remain eternally grateful.

I had bilateral heel fractures that 3 different doctors said I would never walk again. 6 months later after surgery, I am walking with no limp unless very tired. He did a great job and I am over 50+ which is why they said I would never walk again. He encouraged me all the way and I can do almost everything I did before.

I was born with a painfully deformed foot. The surgical options offered to me over the years did not offer much improvement. Then I was referred to Dr. Pomeroy, who was able to rebuild my foot and give me an arch where I once had a shapeless lump of bone. I now walk without pain. He truly changed my life.

I would highly recommend Dr. Pomeroy, thanks to him I'm walking again. Do as he says and you'll be fine. He walked me through everything, spend time with me, answering my questions, his staff is just as wonderful, He has moved to 117 Auburn Street, Portland, Maine : St Mary's Center for Orthopaedics, very easy to find. I have a very messed up ankle and I would not trust it to anyone else but Dr Pomeroy. I hope he doesn't retire to his future house boat until my ankle is done. :) Lona

From first visit he diagnosed right away, had surgery and followed his instructions and every seems to be going in a positive direction!
