Dr. Gregory Neal Smith, MD

Dr. Smith diagnosed my Carpel Tunnel pain in 5 minutes when the top doctor in Atlanta couldn't do it. The surgery went well. When I broke my arm recently while hiking on a trail between Jacksonville and Amelia, we asked the ambulance to take me to Amelia because I wanted to be treated by Dr. Smith. The arm has healed well. He's pretty no nonsense, which some people may see as a lack of a bedside manner, but I have found him to be professional and courteous.

the staff said they could work on my fractured collarbone which i stated i was told requires surgery, i went and seen this doctor who barely spent any time with me, the walls are very thin so i heard about the person's MRI in the room next to me. the stars are also correct there was only one nice lady who was on the staff, the rest were rude, sorry i was so injured and not used to being in a medical facility, but to the one girl with a kind heart, you are nice. the doctor gave me the same number used to contact his office and said the referral that could actually fix my injury would contact me, which didn't happen. didn't even refill my meds thats how little this doctor cares about his patients, and no im not a patient i was evidently a chump trying to get care.

Dr Smith has fixed both my knee and shoulder. No problems with surgery, and I was back to normal in 6 weeks.

Dr Smith is the classic arrogant specialist who does too little listening and not enough assessment of the patient and the problem. He totally just gave me his generic quick diagnosis sent me to physical therapy and come back for another appointment to see if it helped. Totally ignored my medical problems and comments which would have led him to my low tetosterone as the problem in my joints, not my laziness and not getting enough exercise.

Both my mother and my daughter have been patients of Dr. Smiths. My daughter broke her arm and Dr. Smith reset her arm for her. He was patient and kind to my daughter. He explained everything to her in a way she understood. My mother broke her foot a year later and he treated her as well.Dr. Smith is professional, caring and his staff is as well.
