Dr. Hangameh Dehbozorgi, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Dehbozorgi for a couple of years, and I really like her. However, the policies of her office are 100% unacceptable. I am a self-pay patient, and the office offers no discount. I've never had a doctor who didn't offer a discount. That should have been a red flag. When I saw her for the first time, I was on a compounded GLP-1, and I was very happy with the results. She insisted that I get my medication from a pharmacy of her choice. The medication was over $100 more than at my pharmacy. Lab work was required every three months to monitor the effects of the GLP1 medication, and the lab they use doesn't offer a discount either. Every time I had an appointment, I was presented with a $25 balance due. I finally figured out that a question outside of the purpose of the visit was an extra charge. The final straw was when the office stopped answering the phone. I was paying so much money out of pocket, and I couldn't even call her office. Before their policy… changed, I would have had to call back because her staff did not return my call. I highly recommend that you avoid her medical practice, especially if you are self-pay. They want your money, but don't want to be bothered to provide quality patient service. It’s really a shame because I believe that Dr. Dehbozorgi is a very good physician.

Dr. Dehbozorgi did not return calls, took 2 weeks to refill meds and took 2 months to give me lab report showing abnormal results requiring a specialist. And to make it worse she was very rude and condescending. Run.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Hangameh Dehbozorgi today. I had a very long list of health issues to go over and she listened carefully to all of my concerns and took extra time to explain how certain medications work. She is very knowledgeable, patient and personable. After seeing Dr. Dehbozorgi, I now have a more positive outlook on my health. Dr. Dehbozorgi also has an excellent Medical Assistant, Marisol. I met with Marisol first and she is also very knowledgeable, patient and personable. If you're looking for excellent care, these are the women you need to see.
