Back in 2012 after a couple of months in hospital and rehab I seen him on a xmas eve as a 1st follow up after release from a ileo surgery. maybe he just hated being in the clinic on xmas eve but he was extremely rude to the point of barking. Thank God he was not my actual surgeon. very curt an brief and really didn't care. no I would not let him near me again even to save my life. he should retire if he really hates the patients.

Dr. Bailey diagnosed my problem, told me about the surgery and what he might have to do during surgery. He saw me every day I was in the hospital as well as his staff stopping by to see me daily. Asked me if I had questions and was pleased with the results of the surgery on follow-up. I look forward to seeing him for my next follow-up. His nurse, residents and staff have all been so good to responded to my questions or concerns. I know I'm in good hands with Dr. Bailey. Thank you.

He saved my life that is all I can say several times. His bedside manner is curt but professional. This helped me get through some of the roughest moments throughout my treatment.

This doctor does not listen to you when you talk about your symptoms. He insulted my husband's specialty while examining me and my husband is a doctor. He probably hasn't seen a case that interests him in years and treats all the ones he sees exactly the same. The doctor that referred me to him told me that everyone complains about how rude he is but that he does good work. I for one am not going to return to his his office for more verbal abuse.

Excellent surgeon.

No bedside manner. Rushed! Broke an artery during endosopic surgery and had to operate the regular way. After surgery I have a bowel hernia. He blew that off when I went for my follow-up visit. He just said it was a hernia and to contact him if I have a problem. I have found out since then the hernia is a serious matter. It could rupture, which would require me to go to the emergency room.

Eleven years ago I has a stage 2 colon rectal cancer requiring a resection. Dr. Bailey was my physician of choice based on the opinion of 4 other physicians, one of whom is a colon rectal surgeon. My experience has been that Dr. Bailey is an extremity talented, dedicated, caring physician who puts his patients' care above other considerations. He has a dry wit, is easily approachable, and straightforward in dealing with his patients. The hospital staff respects him and treats his patients with care and dignity.Anyone would be fortunate to have Dr. Bailey as their physician.

Reason for visit was uncomfortable to begin with. Ignored questions during exam and use of bedside manners was non-existent. Extremely painful and physician didn't even try to make the exam less invasive than it already had to be.

I had two bouts of colon surgery. Dr. Bailey performed the second and the more complicated procedure. I checked his references and he is one of the best in Houston. By coincidence, by personal physician, Dr. Warren Simi, Internal Medicine for the past 29 years......had an appointment with him shortly after the first surgery. When I told him Dr. Randolph Bailey was going to perform the surgery.....he paused and said "he is the best in town....You have picked the best....they don't come more qualified than that"Also, the entire team of doctors and professionals in his office are also top notch.Robert I.
