My recent experience with Dr. Gewirtz was excellent. I needed plastic surgery on my face because of a medical issue, not for purely cosmetic reasons (an odd growth). He was thorough, knowledgeable and informative. My situation was a bit unusual, but he had the experience to make good decisions on how to proceed (pre-surgical test, etc). Post-surgery, he discussed results, acknowledged uncertainties, and recommended sensible follow-up. His office staff is competent and responsive, especially in this age of large practices that send you to voicemail limbo with no accountability. The office is smaller and probably not as sleek and updated as other doctors doing cosmetic surgery in Fairfield County, but I'd take quality care over image -- as ironic as that sounds when talking about cosmetic surgery!

I was nervous and had loads of questions before my procedure. Dr Gerwirtz was incredibly thorough and my results were great!

I recently went for my first time filler appointment and had been referred through a friend to call Dr. Harold Gewirtz office, and I am SO happy I did. The office was very easy to find, great parking, and their office was lovely. I was a little nervous for my appointment because I didn't want to look ''overdone'', I was aiming for a very natural look and to just soften a few areas that are showing my age. I did filler for my smile lines, and WOW what a difference! The procedure was painless, quick, and Dr.Gewirtz gave me exactly the results I was looking for. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered all of my random filler questions, and was so nice. I absolutely recommend Dr. Harold Gewirtz in Stamford, CT if you are looking for a fantastic certified doctor that knows what he's doing and won't take advantage of you like many others in the area.

I have been a patient for several years and from visit #1 it has been a very reassuring experience. Dr. Gewirtz' knowledge and skill comes through from the initial consultation to the final follow-up visit. I highly recommend Dr. Gewirtz for his skill, competence and integrity.

Very happy with results of rhinoplasty done last year

Do not go to this doctor! I got a tummy tuck and breast lift last year. I still have no feeling in my whole stomach area. I think he cut more than he should have because the numb sensation is awful and pulls on my lower back. So now I have lower back pain, can hardly eat anything with my stitch protruding out, and my belly button is off center as well as one of the other reviews on this site. I should've know since he didn't show me any before/after pics of any previous patients. If would have known that I would feel this way I never would've done it.

Just doing a little preliminary looking around. Dr. Gewirtz was very reassuring and confident. I believe I would be in good hands. Naturally I didn't need a follow up visit.

I had a birth defect which was large and disfiguring on my lip which I always hated and was always frightened to remove it because I was told I would have a big scar. Dr. Gewirtz did an amazing job of getting removing it and I have absolutely NO scar. I can't say how happy I am with this wonderful surgeon.
