Dr. Hasina Hamid, MD

She was my primary care doctor in Milford for many years I thought she provided me with decent care and upon looking back at ny last visit she flat out said to me something bad is going to happen to you!! Well it surely did!! Under her care I received mammograms where she got all the reports and a lesion that had been present on my right breast for years (fibroadenoma) which is usually benign but not ALWAYS!!!! Well this was my case and the fact that I was asymptomatic should not have prevented them from doing a biopsy!!! Hematologist told me I had it for at least 10 years!! So negligent to not get this/also been diagnosed with CCUS and to 53 mutation Had enough CBC’s for her to detect something was wrong!!! I was so WRONG about her Have poor prognosis thanks in part to her not doing her job!!! Never made sure her patients had a replacement dr either I never write reviews of drs but I had to voice this because now my life’s at stake

Dr. Hamid has been my doctor for many years, since she first joined Tri-County Medical Associates. I find her a good listener, and she asks many questions to try and get to the root of the problem. She will make referrals when you need a specialist. She seems a little shy, has a nice smile and nice manner with me. She has never made me feel rushed but takes plenty of time to examine and diagnose any problems.

Dr Hamid is very rude and condescending. Doesn’t listen and judges you. She is not very knowledgeable or helpful either. Would definitely not recommend I’m leaving her office got a new doctor I’ve had her for a while and finally made the switch.

I've been seeing Dr. Hamid as my primary care physician for about 8 years. She is an intelligent, caring doctor. Because she is not of American descent, it took a little while to get used to her but I am very happy with her.

I am seeing her for almost 10 yrs, she is very honest, soft spoken, knowledgeable. She listens to all my problems, very friendly. I will highly recommend her if some one needs PCP.

I was seeing Dr. Hamid for over 5 years, finally made the switch. Absolutely no bedside manner, does make you feel like your being judged. You don't want to tell her things because she'll make you feel like she's looking down on you. Did the cologuard test one year, went back the next year, she suggested again that I consider doing the testing, she didn't even know that I had already done it. Seemed like she thought I was lying to her, had to wait while she looked thru her computer for the results. Then I had to wait while she researched how often the test is recommended!

I only need to go the doctor for my annual physical and when something is wrong or ill. I have been to other doctors that spend two minutes total with you. Dr. Hamid never rushes me, she listens and assesses, and if there is something wrong, I am usually given info that I can review at home. She is not stingy with her prescription pad, if I need something, she'll prescribe it. I find her bedside manner just fine. She does chit chat during annual exam, especially during the OB-GYN portion to take your mind off of the issue at hand. I would (and have) recommended her.

My mother and I have bee going to Dr. Hamid for a few yeas now. Even though she know her stuff. She makes you, at least my mother and I very unconfortable. I realize that a doctor can't get that close to their patients, but she is too distant.

Robo-calls are placed after office hours to your homes to confirm appointments. Then you can't cancel because the answering service has been told they can't take messages?!? Seriously ! She is hurried and uses her tablet to make your diagnosis as if she can't make it on her own. I have found her to be judgmental and rude too. She should leave milford!

Dr. Hamid is a straight shooter and tells you like it is. Your doctor is not your friend, people! Your doctor is there to help you be well and stay well. From reading these reviews about her bedside manner, I definitely agree. I have diabetes and she has done an excellent job helping me stay on top of it. Recently, I went to her about having trouble breathing when I exerted myself. She listened to me, provided an EKG and then referred me to a cardiologist. I had a blocked artery that needed a stent. She is good at what she does even if she isn't your "friend."
