Trillium Creek Dermatology in Medina called the police on me yesterday when I came in asking to speak to Dr. Helen Torok personally. They did not call me personally, initially, to inform me of a biopsy returning with a rare cancer diagnosis. They sent out an unsigned form letter instead that I received 7/2. Dr. Torok insisted that I was called....told me four times that I was called and given the results, but I was NOT. I went in to pick up my pathology report and records after speaking to her on the phone briefly yesterday morning. I simply wanted to show her my phone and my Verizon record that shows NO incoming phone calls from Trillium Creek. All I was looking for was an acknowlegement that their office may have made a mistake and possibly might apologize for it. ?Both Dr. Helen Torok and the office manager Aaron Funk refused to come out and/or see me and when I told them I would wait or book an office visit and pay to speak to them I was told the police would be called if I didn’t… immediately leave. Then they sent the receptionist back out to tell me that I should be ashamed of myself for wasting the police department’s time. Three Montville police cars arrive, they talk to her in the back office and the officer came out and said “They’re not coming out, and I’m so sorry that this has happened to you”

I went to see the doctor to determine if I should be concerned about some moles that dried and flaked skin. After waiting an hour, I was told that it could be another hour to see the doctor, however I could have a nurse something-or-other look at me instead. I chose that because I didn't want to wait any longer. I was looked at and told the moles were benign. The nurse encouraged me to have them removed, which I agreed to, but wondered why they would remove a benign mole. I later figured it out. They made money by removing them. Bottom line: I consider her practice to be a bait-and-switch operation. I believe she overbooks and gives the overflow to her subordinates. It was a very unhappy experience.

I do not trust this doctor with my health. She is not interested in helping a patient with skin problems...She appears only interested in a patient who wants botox, cosmetic help or who wants to buy her spa products.

In all honesty, I could care less how nice or not nice the office staff is, it is the doctor that matters for me. Dr. Torok diagnised, used the Moh's method for my skin cancer and all was gone.

Great doc. Has a huge client base and the office is always busy. She does a good job of spending time with people and is very aggressive with her treatments - she wants to fix your problem as soon as she can. I would highly recommend her - just know that you might be at her office for a while.

Dr. Torok is brilliant, kind & caring; her office and staff outstanding. Not only did she seamlessly diagnose & treat my dermatologic conditions that have degraded my life for over 10 years, she correlated them to systemic health issues and sent that information, with treatment suggestions, to the doctor involved. I am truly amazed by her and incredibly grateful!

I have been to Dr. Helen Torok a couple times in the past year. Reading some of the reviews, I was concerned but decided to try her anyway. I only waited about 10 minutes in the lobby. The staff was friendly. I liked Dr. Torok. She answered all my questions and I was happy they could perform the minor procedure during the visit. I have been other places and you have to make another appointment to come in to have any work done. That meant more time out of my schedule and another co-pay! Yes, she works fast and I was in and out quickly, but she did take the time to explain and answer questions. My husband decided to see her also, and he was pleased. It's great not to have to wait weeks or months to get in!
