Dr. Henry Gelender, MD

Dr. Gelender performed a corneal transplant 25 years ago. when a cataract snuck in, he fixed that. I owe him my vision and along with that my quality of life.

I had lasik with Dr. Gelender years ago and still have 20/15 vision. He was professional and set realistic expectations. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my eyes.

Had corneal transplant.Outcome(3yrs)has been excellent. Follow-up shows no problems.Staff friendly & efficient. Would reccommend to all.

The one office visit was brief and I was told if I had any questions I was to ask some other person. when I tried to get him to answer another question I was told to talk to his assistant.He was not a very reassuring dr. for a very serious surgery coming up. I have not made up my mind whether to have him do it now. My daughter got the same impression.
