Dr. Henry Isaac Meisels, MD

The good news is that my prescription is perfect. I know this because he gave me a new one and I got glasses made. I returned to him because I still couldn't see well. He checked the prescription, said it was fine and told me there was nothing else he could do for me. I asked why I couldn't see and what we could do about it, he said, "There's nothing else I can do for you." I asked what else it could be? Eye disease? Brain tumor? He said, "You have no symptoms of anything of those." Most unsatisfying experience with a physician ever. (And this is not even factoring in the necessity to tolerate his patronizing, condescending, brusque bedside manner).

He's by far the most unprofessional doctor I have ever come across so far . Extremely rude ! He was very short with me and left me without any answers other than giving me a prescription for glasses . Definitely getting a second opinion .

Going to see this doctor was the worst experience I had with a provider. He is impatient, rude and does not spend enough time with patients. When I asked him for a written prescription his response to me was "if you take this script and purchase your contacts somewhere else then don't come back here"! I know! He's something else! I wouldn't waste my time with this doctor, there are so many other doctors out there! And in addition his own staff acknowledges his rudeness!!

Superb job. I have been moire than completely satisfied for the entire eight plus years since the operation. I have not needed even reading glasses either. It has been excellent in every way.

Dr. Meisels is a great doctor. I hate eye drops or anyone coming near my eyes and he has made the experience very calming and relaxing for me. He explains what he is going to do in such a manner that any patient would be fully ably to understand. I am so glad that he is my opthamologist!

Immediately upon entering the interview room, Dr. Meisels began to lecture me, the patient, about peripheral matters. He then asked me the problem, interrupted before I could fully describe my symptoms and subsequently failed to take in complete information. Ultimately, I do not trust the diagnosis because I know that he did not complete the examination, In a follow up telephone conversation, he blamed me for his failure and actually insulted me personally.
