Dr. Howard William Russell, MD

Dr. Russell is the most kind, caring, professional OB/GYN I have ever met. He has a spirit of love and compassion. He delivered all my grandkids as well. He makes you laugh when you see him but serious about the care of the mother and baby whenever under his care. Patient Care his #1 priority. My family and I love him so much. Do your research before choosing Dr Russell. Also if you enjoy your life you do not want to sit in his office for hours and hours at a time. He has the worst wait time that I have ever seen in a doctor. Obviously he doesn't care about his patients time schedules. He wants everyone to be there conveniently 15 minutes before the appointment, but they are not seeing till hours after their appointment take my advice go somewhere else!

I had been going to Dr Russell for the last 15 years. Don't know what happened to his office. The receptionist/secretary Rene is always a pleasure and great to deal with. However, his other stuff is horribly rude. The last few appointments I have attended with him have been unacceptably late. Sometimes leaving people to sit in the back for more than an hour and half, and sometimes even longer with no communication. It's a shame I really like Dr Russell but over the years his practice has Really gone downhill.

Dr. Russell has performed two sectarian sections on me aiding me in giving birth to my daughter in 2002 and my son in 2007. I find him to be extremely knowledgeable, courteous, caring, and he is always there when needed. I would recommend him to any of my loved ones. I a tally would rather make the hour drive to see him than to have a doctor in my area. I have tried settling for less, and in the end he just cannot be replaced.

Liked the Doctor ok. Staff was inattentive. But my biggest problem was the wait time. I work full-time and had a high-risk pregnancy. I spent no less than 3 hours per appointment there. He should stop taking new patients now to get some older patients delivered and he needs to stop taking Medicaid. These patients took all of the more convenient appointment times even though the majority of them didn't work. I ended up switching doctors and now I wait no longer than 20 minutes in the waiting room. I should have switched a year ago.

Abosolutly poor service from this Dr. Very dissatisfied with.the way he.treated his.patients. my wife is 33 weeks pregnant and Dr Russell has been a bad choice since day 1

waited 3 hours for confirmation on my miscarriage. they put me in the room next to the fetal monitoring room where i can hear someone's baby's heartbeat. Very uncaring and not compassionate.

Be prepared to wait over 2 hours. Sitting here waiting for my miscarriage to be confirmed, they put me in a room next to someone doing fetal monitoring. I can hear the heartbeat. Emotionally draining. No bedside manner at all.

i absolutely love dr. russell...couldnt have asked for a better doctor during my pregnancy. i wish he was a pediatrician too so i could continue to see him for my daughter.

Not very good bedside manner. Ended up waiting altogether over 2 hours for him to tell me that he wanted to take my left ovary and Fallopian tube for a simple ovarian cyst bc I am 40 years old and past my child rearing years.
