Dr. Howard Chaochong Yang, MD

Dr Yang didn't listen to anything I had to say, seemed to have reached his own conclusions about my body and health without listening to me. Very unhelpful.

Dr Yang reviewed every single piece of information that was already listed in my chart. EVERYTHING. When we got to the reason for my visit, he asked one question. I answered, but he proceeded as though he hadn't heard me, or maybe didn't believe me. He took me off of a medication that had worked well for me, over 5 years time. He either ignored or dismissed the positive results I'd had on the medication; he simply made up his mind on what to do, regardless of how I felt. I guess there's good reason why there are always time slots available to see him. Who wants a doctor who doesn't listen to patient feedback?

Dr. Yang is not at all interested in his patients. His physicals last about 5 minutes--barely lays a hand on you and makes no eye contact. He simply asks questions and types your answers into his computer. He doesn't check your lymph nodes, listen to your heart, look in your ears--nothing! I'm in my late fifties and feel that I need a real annual check up. I resent that this guy practically has one foot out of the exam room door the whole time I'm I there. I don't know how he got to be a Hopkins doctor--I thought they were supposed to be the best!
