Dr. Hui-Shan Jenny Hsu, MD

One of the most awful experiences I've ever had with a doctor. Her incredible lack of knowledge and compassion are baffling. I wonder what she even learned in medical school. As an educated person in the field of science, I cannot comprehend her twisted logic. I asked for help and understanding of my pain and symptoms and I'm met with no real answers or solutions but pain meds. Leaving and finding another doctor who actually knows what they are doing helped me get better so much faster. Please don't be a doctor if you are only in it for the money.

I wished I had read all of the reviews on this doctor. You don't usually go in and look for a doctor when you get hospitalized. This doctor almost cost me my life from her ineptitude at Mills Peninsula. Stay away!

Keep your loved ones away from this doctor. She makes things worse. I wished I was able to find these reviews before and now I have so much regret. Human life is so valuable yet this doctor does not treat it as such.

This doctor never read my charts and proceeded to "treat" me based on what?! As you would have guessed, I didn't get better under her "treatment" at all. Leaving her care was the best treatment that I got for my health. Please learn that you are in charge of a human life and it should be valued. I don't know how much you care about other people but change your career if you truly just want money. We depend on you and you are screwing up people's lives with you ineptitude.

Extremely poor doctor. If you value your health, choose someone who is more qualified. Extremely surprised with how little she looked into my charts. Just read the summary and tried to treat me with so little info. Asked questions and she just answered "we just don't know." Really?! What are we paying her so much money for? Go back to school because you are in charge of people's lives! I developed severe complications because of your ineptitude. Hope this helps someone else.

I had a very bad experience with this doctor. I would recommend finding someone else. This doctor did not provide the necessary care to help me get better and could not explain things very well. It's always easy to just say "we don't know!" Well, how are you supposed to help me then? And this doctor would rather cover symptoms up instead of curing disease. No thanks!

This doctor is terrible at explaining medical problems and does not even try to help figure things out. She doesn't care to help you get better. If you are satisfied with answers such as " We just don't know" over and over again with a laissez-faire treatment of just prescribing pain killers, please feel free to use this doctor. If you want to actually figure things out and attempt a treatment to get better, please use someone else. With the way she treats patients and her knowledge, one would think she is still in training. In fact, from my experience she should still be. She is in charge of people's lives!

No compassion at all. Had to watch someone I loved trying to live forced into "comfort care" and pushed into hospice under Dr. Jenny Hsu's care.
