"Stay away as far as yMy visit was for urgent second opinion on 50% possibility of prostate cancer, based on latest MRI results. On my arrival, something suspicious already alarmed me, when on the top of my UHC Medicare Advantage Card and Driving License, they requested my Government Medicare Card. After waiting approx. 20 min, I was called and proceeded inside. Then Russian speaking receptionist requested to pay $40, my usual copay to see specialist, and, in addition, some deductible $257, allegedly from Medicare. I exited the area, called insurance and confirmed that all my fin. obligation was $40. Despite, he continued to insist, but graciously changed the amount from 257 to 'only 80' with no explanation provided. I was so outraged by this impudence, that used some cursing in Russian. It captured Sergeyev's attention and he declined to see me.After spending three useless, humiliating hours back and forth between insurances and his staff, I left empty-handed, exhausted, frustrated… and outraged.

I’d stay away after hearing and reading the way he violates laws of the NY state health department. A doctor should know better.

HIPPA violations galore!!!! This office is deeply ignorant of NY state health department laws. The staff is following the illegal practices of this doctor. Be mindful when going to see him, you will be exposed to unethical practices. The lengths they go for a penny is highly questionable!

Igor Sergeyev is the biggest idiot I’ve ever seen, told me a totally wrong diagnosis !!! Very unprofessional and very vague doctor. Go elsewhere to see a professional specialist !

Dr. Sergeyev listened to my problems and immediately went towards an effective strategy.

Dr. Sergeyev is a no nonsense doctor, who also can patiently explain symptoms and conditions. I will be returning to Dr. Sergeyev for the rest of my life. The waiting room is small, but I have never been in there longer than 15 minutes.
