Doctor Shternfeld saved my life by promptly diagnosing my medical problem, not even related to ophthalmology, that had been missed by my other doctors. I am truly grateful to her and highly recommend her.

Arrived 10 minutes before my appointment (scheduled at 2:20 pm). At 3:15 (55 minutes after appointment time) I checked with receptionist to see what was going on. Was told there was still one patient ahead of me, but no idea how long it would be. Asked to be rescheduled for 1st appointment of the day, whenever available. Was told “for me” 1st appointment of day would be at 2:10 pm (??) and that there would always be a wait. Seeing how well the 2:20 appointment was working out, I decided to find another doctor (my previous appointment the year before had also involved a long wait). Rude, unhelpful staff, a very poor reflection on the entire operation. Sadly, my fabulous ophthalmologist of 15 years retired. I’ll keep looking.

Please stay away! Terrible doctor and unprofessional staff. I am usually not one to write a review, unless I have had a really bad experience. I have been here multiple times, intending to give them another chance. The wait times are long, the receptionist and staff and unprofessional at best. I have shown up on time, only to have to wait 45 minutes for an appointment. The doctor is okay as far as her competence is concerned, but has terrible bedside manners and is really rude. There are multiple times where I am was expressing my symptoms, so she can have data to analyze, but she would cut me off and say I don't see this. So I must be liar who has nothing better to do than come all this, wait 45 minutes after my appointment time, to be cut off and told I am imagining my symptoms. Personally, I no longer go here, and wanted to write this review for the benefit of others who might be considering going here. Once again, I have given them multiples opportunities, so I am not basing this… off a one time bad experience. Avoid this place, drive further if you have to, it is not worth it!

Went to ER for flash burns to my eyes from welding accident on a Sunday and was given this office to follow-up the next day. Called on Monday and was told they would see me Thurs. ER said needed to be seen within 24-48 hours and explained this, office person checked with eye doc who said not urgent can wait until Thurs. This is not the case and they should have known that! Showed up on Thurs only to be told may not be covered by insurance, office staff not helpful at all. It would have been covered if they had helped me talk to insurance, but instead gave me codes and had me call and I ended up leaving without being seen.

I missed a appointment and they sent me a letter telling me that I can no longer go there and to find another provider. I had been going to Dr. Shternfeld for 6 years and they threw me out like trash after I missed ONE appointment since I started going here. My family and I will be taking our business (and money) to someone who treats us with respect.

I really like the Doctor, she is very knowable and seems very interested in everything that concerns your eyes.... Takes her time and spends plenty of time with you... I would highly recommend her...

She was a awesome woman very good with my kids as my girls were very scared she made it fun n comfortable 4 us all

Dr. Shternfeld is very efficient and knowledgeable. She presents information in a very patient-friendly manner. I have gone to her for a number of years, and I am very pleased with her care of me and her recommendations.
