Dr. Imdad Noman Yusufaly, MD

Incompetent, impatient, lazy, rude, arrogant, condescending, doesn’t bother to read patients’ case history, doesn’t listen to his patients. I’ve met countless doctors throughout my life, but rarely have I encountered someone so completely unqualified to be in medicine. Avoid this doctor like the plague. It was a very traumatic experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. What a horrible human being. Absolutely the worst.

It took me 2 months to get into this doctor. Upon arriving for my appointment, the office was empty. The receptionist was on her cell phone, having a personal conversation. The carpet in the waiting room area, as well as the chairs were full of stains. The rooms were exactly the same (this is a doctors office people!). When the Dr. came in, he shook my hand & asked "what are your current symptoms". I tried to explain my condition has been going on for a few years and he got angry & again said "I want to know what are your current symptoms". He then proceeded to say I could have gone to another doctor; that he is busy at the hospital. He also didn't ask for my medical history or, if & what medication I was on, so how could he make an informed decision based on my "current symptoms"? He then said "if I had gone to a real doctor (not a P.A.) that knew what they were doing & had taken the time, they would know that tingling in my hands, pain in my arms, etc. had nothing to do with… my nerves! He also said that HMO's are useless and I didn't need all the MRI"s that had been ordered. Needless to say, I was so taken back that I couldn't even respond. If HE had taken the time to review MY medical history, he would have understood why I was there for a nerve study & why I had "all those tests". If this was the only "doctor" on my insurance that I could go to, I would gladly pay out of pocket to find another! Not only would I NOT recommend him, but I have already shared my experience with my Primary Doctor, as well as anyone who will listen! P.S. This was not my first visit to this doctor, same exact experience several years ago (different problem). He doesn't even deserve 1 star......

I selected this practice partly because of all the positive feedback. Yikes. What a joke! I have chronic migraines and hoped this doctor, who my insurance kept pushing on me, would help. Not only was he of no use but the staff provided information to my insurance indicating I was the problem. You decide for yourself: 1. He told me the records I keep of my chronic condition was a "waste of my time. If I focused on exercising instead of keeping my test results in a binder, I would have less headaches." Oh yes, he's quite a charmer! 2. When I shared what remedies I had already tried, he replied "those things don't work." (herbs, vitamins, etc) I told him my prior physicians had recommended I try them and he wanted to "see it in writing" before he believed it. Of course I had it in writing because I keep all the doctors notes in that binder that is such a big waste. Yes, it just keeps getting better. 3. He finally said, "You seem to know everything, what do you want from me?"… Apparently I made a GIANT MISTAKE thinking he could help me so I asked him to write my prescriptions for Sumatriptan and I left. 4. So I go to the pharmacy and they tell me the doctor changed his mind and cancelled the prescription. He wants me to stop taking meds and do yoga instead. Have you ever had a migraine. Yoga? You have to be high!!! It's no mystery, I have moved on and share my story with anyone who will listen. If we are seeing a doctor, we are already in pain. The doctor isn't supposed to make our life harder. Right?

I see that I had placed a prior review, and it has been removed. I will repost, because it is important. Suffice it to say, Dr. Yusufaly treated me with disrespect, and ordered the nurse to call me and tell me I must immediately start taking a medicine that was clearly not helpful, but very harmful to me. Without discussion of any kind. He accused me of lying within a few minutes of meeting him. "3 times. "Who do you think you are" is what he said. I went to him for help with my serious issues. Regardless of the technicalities of my health problems, I would not return to this dr. Simply based on his poor attitude and disrespect towards a patient seeking honest help.

A wonderful and experienced doctor, an exceptional office with very efficient staff, courteous, compassionate, and hard working....an overall great experience.

I saw this Dr. For a serious continuing condition which I had seen him for be for.a lot. Because he had heard a false statement from another person , he treated me horribly. He was rude, treated me with total disrespect and was completly mean.so very unprofessional. His nurses were embarrassed and kept telling me they were so very sorry. I would not recommend him to anyone. If he likes you your treated good. If for any reason he doesn't he will treat you very bad .he even gave me wrong information on purpose to hurt me. BE VERY CAREFUL GOING TO HIM. I thought Dr.were to treat all patients the same no matter how they felt about you. The information he had heard was even wrong. Wow I was shocked by his behavior to a patient.. Don't go to him. Horrible person and Super unprofessional.

I was referred to him because of numerous headaches and tingling in my arm and leg. He ordered a MRI. On the day before we left on a big family trip, he had his nurse call and tell me I had a tumor in my brain and that she was making an urgent appointment for me to see a neurosurgeon. The nurse was unable to give us any more information and Dr. Yusufaly was not available to answer any questions. When asked, the nurse was unable to tell us if we should cancel our family trip. We went our the trip but the diagnosis was constantly on our minds. When we returned, we saw two different Neurosurgeons (One for a second opinion) and they both said what Dr. Yusufaly "saw" was not a tumor, had been with me since conception AND could not, and was not the cause of my symptoms. We were advised to see a different neurologist that did not "FIXATE" on something that had nothing to do with my symptoms. and to get a complete work up from a "Good Neurologist" which we are doing now.

What a great relief it was to find this dr. The professionalism and care given was exceptional, not only did he put me on a right path to curing migraines but he calmed my heart as well by showing doctors do care.. Thankyou Dr patel for recommending...

I FOUND DR YUSUFALY TO BE VERY COURTEOUS AND CARING. HE TOOK THE TIME TO DIAGNOSE ME AND EXPLAINED MY SYMPTOMS IS DETAIL. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM
