Dr. Ira Michael Turner, MD

I saw Dr Turner a few years back for botox for migraine. Saw him a few times over some months and treatment didn't help me at all. I subsequently went to the Mayo Clinic, where the neuro there showed me a picture of the Migraine Botox protocol (ie, where needles should be injected): Dr Turner had put only a fraction of the needles in and not in the places called for in the protocol. He also spent lots of time pushing a sumatriptan-like wanna be injection and mentioned that he was working with the pharma company that made it. All signs of a doc in the poc(ket) of big pharma. Too bad. The neuro in Huntington who referred me thought he was the best headache guy around. NOT!

Doctor Turner is extremely intelligent, compassionate & sympathetic. He is a blessed man. My husband & I are lucky to be patients of such a kind doctor who’s number one goal is to help his patients. Thank you Dr Turner & staff . ??????????

Drove 90 minutes for a 10:00 appointment and was turned away. Google Maps had my location a block or two away in another building so I called to ask where the office was located because I was confused and could not find the office. At this time it was 9:45 and I was told I was at the wrong address. I drove down the block and called to inform the office I was pulling into the parking lot. It was now 10:05 and I was told to reschedule because I was late. Thanks for wasting my time.

Dr. Turner is wonderful. He successfully treated my daughter for migraines and he helped her get through a rough period.

Nice doctor except when I get margarine my tight eye hurts is that connected with migraine?
