Dr. Iris B Bernstein, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Bernstein for many years. I have always felt comfortable with her and find her knowledgeable and very comforting. In this practice, you only see her if a procedure is being performed. I usually see her Physican Assistant for my checkups or if I have a problem. However, today after waiting in the waiting room for 45 minutes and then when taken back to the examining room, being told I would have to wait another half hour, I politely got up and said, "enough" and left. Because in all the years I have been a patient, I have never waited less than an hour or two hours. That is unacceptable to happen all the time. Either too many people are being scheduled at the same time or the office managers are just not capable of running the office. I will be looking for another doctor.

SO GLAD I WAS ABLE TO GET IN WITH DR BERNSTEIN. SHE WAS THOUGHTFUL AND AN EXCELLENT DOCTOR.

Dr. Bernstein and her staff are very thorough. If I should have a urinary issue, I know their door is always open. This is a very comforting office and atmosphere.

My appointment was at 4:15, I got there at 3:15. I had made the appointment three months earlier. I didn't get to see Dr. Bernstein at all that day with whom I had the appointment, but saw only the nurse practitioner and her only at 4:55, 40 minutes after my appointed time. Very disappointed in that, but I have always liked the office and health providers. They just obviously overbooked.

She is a great Dr. My mom, loves her.

I've been seeing Dr. Bernstein over four years now and she is the best urologist I've ever seen (and my situation dictates I see one regularly) and among the best Doctors I've seen. Frankly, I should keep her a secret, she's that good!
