Dr. Derweesh is exceptional. If you need to pick a surgeon he is your "man". The aftercare is going to be your issue. His nurse is rude and unprofessional. Expect quality care by the doctor and awful service care afterwards. When you are good you are busy which creates different issues... so be prepared.

My husband had surgery To have a tumor removed and ran out of pain medication I have spent the last 2 days trying to get the nurse to have it written up but she keeps calling saying she called it in to the pharmacy . You would think a nurse would no you can't call in oxycodone it has to be a written prescription. They don't seem to care that he's in this much pain.

My father had seen 2 other highly qualified specialists who both recommended total kidney removal, as they did not think that the kidney could be saved. He was afraid that he was going to need dialysis afterwards if his kidney wasn't saved. Dr. Derweesh saved my father's kidney and removed the cancer.
