Dr. J Michael Vento, MD

I fractured my ankle and my cousin recommended Dr. Vento. I was stressed and wanted to see someone that day. I called his office and his staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Vento was able to see me that day. I felt very comfortable with him. He spent time to explain the condition and treatment. He had an excellent bedside manner. My fracture has healed and I am back to normal. Thanks Dr. Vento

My experience with Dr. Vento was disappointing. He was not able to communicate why he chose one treatment option over another. He also did a poor job of explaining physical therapy exercises and activity restrictions. On several occasions I had to ask him for information that I assumed should be told to a patient without having to ask. I felt "in the dark" while I was under Dr. Vento's care. I was treated more like a product on an assembly line and less like a person when I visited his office. I would NOT recommend Dr. Vento.
