Dr. James Daniel Alfandre, MD

I saw him three times and as long as he was getting money for quick cortisone shots he was happy but became dismissive and rude when asked to do more research. Always get a second opinion especially if a Dr is relying on old X-rays and MRI’s.

I had one office visit with Dr. Alfandre and it will be my last. He was arrogant, perfunctory, and showed no empathy whatsoever. The appointment was rushed and I was left feeling dismissed and disrespected. I will be seeing a different surgeon. Not recommended

Following a MVA, saw Dr. Alfandre for prolonged shoulder pain that an MRI said had tendinitis, bursitis and some small cysts within the joint.....the doctor discounted the validity of the images, disagreed with the treatment plan I had followed, and in my 8 minute visit told me there was nothing significant about my injury. He asked questions multiple times that I answered (the first time), but showed he was not listening to the original answer. His solution was a steroid shot to "hopefully make this just go away." I was not allowed to ask questions, was not given information about the shot I had received (side effects, care plan, etc) and was just a number.

Speedy diagnosis, speedy treatment, brilliant bedside manner and great at listening to patients. Wish he was my primary doctor!

Dr. A is great at repairing sports injuries, which is his field of expertise. He's done surgeries on my four different leg injuries since 2010. Three of the four came out perfect. The fourth most recent (3 weeks ago) had an added problem of arthritis, so the jury is still out on that. It may require an additional procedure. He takes time to explain things and shows me pictures he took during the surgery. I wouldn't hesitate to see him again for sports injuries such as mine, ACL, ruptured achilles, meniscus...

This Dr has a terrible bedside manner.He is rude and arrogant.

I have been a patient of Dr. Alfandre for many years and could not be more pleased. He is very nice, extremely easy to talk/discuss treatment options with and most of all genuinely cares about you. I also appreciate his straight forward approach to how to fix or make the problem better!

It would be nice if he treated his patients with a better quality it's like he's only there for the paycheck and he never wants to give you feed back of what you should be doing still waiting 2 weeks for a surgery appt.

My experience with Dr. Alfandre was exceptional. He presented me with options for my knee pain, caused by a torn meniscus. He was on point with his appointments, his staff was friendly and very accommodating. My surgery was very successful and post-op care was easy. I would recommend and return to Dr. Alfandre for consult or surgery again.

Very positive experience. Dr. Alfandre was polite and courteous. He reviewed my x-ray with me, explained the cause of my pain and answered my questions. The treatment that he rendered was effective in eliminating the pain. The office staff was extremely pleasant and courteous.
