Exceptional ENT doctor. Takes time to understand the problem and he was able to diagnose a problem that a couple of other ENTs could not. He is patient and thoughtful in his approach. I would highly recommend him!

I was suppose to have surgery for the 2nd time by Dr. Andrews his assistant called very aggressive and threatened to cancel my surgery without 2,000 which I assured her my husband would take care of. She called back and threatened me stating "will the money be there or I am canceling"! The money was was NOT an issue! Also the hospital called and could NOT reach the doctor and had never got my pysical paperwork. The same woman did NOT follow through. Dr. Andrews called the day prior and canceled my surgery! I had canceled vacations and paid extra money for child care. This woman should NOT be working with patients. By the way this was my second surgery with Dr Andrews...first one didn't work! You think I would have been treated better.

Be very careful when you book your appointment with Dr. Andrews' staff, to understand what your costs are going to be.

James Andrews immediately and correctly diagnosed an ear problem that another otolaryngologist had mis-diagnosed before. Highly recommended for inner ear disorders, as that is his specialty: anything involving vertigo, balance or tinnitis, for example Menieres disease. He is really solid, has lots of experience, and is meticulous, and it shows. Bedside manner is a bit brisk (he will type notes while talking to you) but friendly (I need a special diet, he recommended a restaurant that can accomodate it - nice!). He did a very thorough differential diagnosis, I feel that he didn't miss a thing.If you need a *neurotologist*, go to this guy, don't go to a random otolaryngologist that doesn't have a clue like I did at first.
