My throat was operated on in the last year and it has been getting stronger and clearer eversince.

We can't say enough about Dr. Burns and the MGH Voice Center. He repaired my son's trachea after others said he would be trach dependent for life. Every visit we are treated like family. The care is so good that we travel over 1000 miles.

Dr. Burns performed laser surgery on my father to remove a cancerous growth. He took extreme care with my father in relation to his surgery and follow-up visits. He goes out of his way to be accommodating to his patients. He is one of the best doctors I have met.

After seeing two ENT's in WNY and being referred to a surgeon as the next step, I decided to make the drive from Buffalo to Boston on the advice of a friend. I called and was able to get an appointment for the following week. It was well worth the trip. Dr Burns was outstanding, as was another physician named Anne who also examined me. Very thorough, took their time and best of all, said surgery was not necessary. Dr Burns also offered to send my CT results to one of his colleagues (a renowned radiologist who specializes in this) for one more set of eyes to look at it. Two days later and very unexpectedly, Dr Burns called me to ask how things were and to let me know that the radiologist conferred with the findings. All in all, just a great visit and I'd recommend him without hesitation.

Provided signifant amount of information which was easily understood. No "bum's rush". Few specialists these days make you feel they sincerely care about you. This physician does. Excellent first experience with the Voice Center.

Dr. Burns exemplifies the ideals of his profession. He restored my husband's vocal chords and preserved his breathing capabilities. Humble, compassionate, and capable of performing miracles with his hands. We travel from Albany on a regular basis to Boston for his internationally recognized expertise.
