Dr. James Daniel Carpenter, DO

Awful human being, terrible pilot. Don't care if he knows anything about opthalmology. I wouldn't let him within 12 statute miles of any part of my body, especially not flying it somewhere.

We waited 2.5 hours and still have not been seen by the doctor. The staff is very rude. We finally walked out.

the worst doctor i have ever seen. he makes patients wait for four to five hours before seeing them. the last time i was there he told me he would see me at 1:00 and i was seen at 3:30. I do not recommend this doctor at all

Thank you god for putting me under miracle hands, Doctor J.D Carpenter (Opthamologist) was super friendly . He literally cleared my eye bacterial infection in just minutes . Excellent Staff, welcoming environment and state of the art procedures . Every one should go to him for all your EYE CARE .

AFTER EYE EXAM DR. CARPENTER CAME IN THE ROOM STATING I NEEDED SURGERY AND WAS ONLY WASTING MY TIME AND MONEY IF I CHOSE TO GET GLASSES.HE THEN LEFT THE ROOM,I TOLD THE GIRL I NEEDED MORE TIME TO THINK ABOUT THIS AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE GLASSES FIRST.THE GLASSES WERE ALL WRONG,WHY WOULD I WANT SOMEONE TO OPERATE ON MY EYES WHEN HE COULDN'T EVEN MAKE SURE MY EYE PERSCRIPTION WAS CORRECT..

It's easy to get an appointment with Dr. Carpenter. I have been to his Lake Mead office. What I did not like was that he only spends less than 3-5 minutes with you. Also, he has awful bedside manners. He seems like a child who is about to throw a temper tantrum. He snaps his fingers at his employees. In one case he did not understand my parent, and he got impatient and snapped at his assistant to interpret for him. I think this is a true lack of professionalism. Dr Carpenter does not know how to patient with people. I would not return to this doctor again.

Poor results from surgery with complications that were not treated on follow up visits. He has lost his license once and will probably lose it again. Average wait time in office 2+ hrs. 4 months outside surgery and still have complications.
