James Darnley, M.D., is an orthopedic trauma surgeon with an expertise in treating all fractures and special interests in pelvic and acetabulum fractures, complex periarticular fractures, polytraumatized patients, and geriatric fractures. After growing up in Northeast Ohio and playing basketball for Mount Union, he became a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He then completed his residency at the Summa Health System and went on to further his training with a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at UAB Hospital, in Birmingham, AL, one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. Outside of orthopedics, Dr. Darnley enjoys going to concerts with his wife, rooting for the Browns and Buckeyes, and staying active in athletics.
