Dr. James Hanley Griffin, MD

His reviews from patients are 2.4. Would you want a doctor with a 2.4 rating taking care of you. I made the mistake of using this man. what a horrible mistake I made. He messed up my surgery, panicked, then spent more time trying to get me discharged, than treat me. He NEVER fessed up to his surgical mistake. Nor would he speak to my family after surgery. I hope at least one patent reads this, and looks for a real doctor. I do not recommend him at all.

I have been his patient for over 2 years. I have to agree that he is 100% business, (doesn't like my jokes). His diagnosis and treatment was always spot on. My wait times were short, his staff were friendly and cheerful . So I'll keep him as my doctor.

Won't listen to you. Has no imaging in front of him to show patients, calls patients liars, and simply walks out on you. All I was asked was - do you want the surgery or not? Narcissistic, self-righteous and rude. Stay away from him.

I've been to many specialists and by far this is the worst medical office. The receptionist is extremely rude, she made us wait out in the hallway with other senior citizen patients for 40 minutes because they overbooked appointments, and she wouldn't provide us chairs to sit in. Then the doctor doesn't spend more that 1 minute with the patient. Oh and try to refill a prescription. I would advise anyone checking this office to rethink your choices, and perhaps keep this one as a last resort.

Look at the ratings from other patients. Read google reviews. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. I was 100% dissatisfied with my medical treatment. He performed robotic surgery on me and there isn't a day that goes by that I wish I had gone to another doctor. My surgery had complications that required several days in the hospital. He tried to discharge me and I refused. Thank god I did. All he wanted to do was get me out of the hospital. I developed sepsis and almost died. I dropped him as fast as I could and went to another urologist. I hope someone reads this and decides to look at another doctor.

I had been treating with dr. Griffin for a couple years and I was always well pleased with him and his staff. Recently he recommended a test which I felt was not really one that I needed, but because I had come to respect his opinions regarding his treatment I followed his advice. The results led to the very early discovery of a serious condition, which, without the early diagnosis, would not have been discovered untl the condition became serious enough to produce symptoms, at which time the condition would have progressed to a life threatening state.

He is the worst doctor I have ever met in my life! Please do not go there. He will not spend more than 1 minute with you and he will make you feel uncomfortable if you ask him questions. He is rude and disrespectful

My husband was told he had a problem (fertility) and that it wasn't that bad and to keep trying. Several months later I asked my OB/GYN for a second opinion. We went to a fertility specialist and when my husband told him what Dr. Griffin had said, he replied, "That's disappointing. You will not get your wife pregnant with this problem. You need to have surgery." Thanks to subsequent surgery, we were able to get pregnant.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Griffin today. I was very impressed not only with the doctor but with the staff. I have no idea why people say that the staff was rude, I found just the opposite. They were very friendly and thorough and put me at ease before seeing the doctor for the first time on a delicate issue. As a new patient I was surprised at how quickly I got an appointment. Dr. Griffin was the same. Came into the room and sat down and went over all the options I had and went over each type of procedure and the possible problem to follow. After he explained everything to me he listened to me and answered all my questions and we discussed what would be best for me. The picture does him justice, a very happy relaxed person that doesn't talk down to you but explains things in a way that you can understand. I would recommend this doctor to anyone who is looking for a urologist and I look forward to continuing on as one of his patients.

I just had a hydrocele tony by Dr Griffin I thought dr griffin had very good bedside manner-was funny and put you at ease before the surgery He did a great job and now I am in post op recovery Sore and swollen but nothing unusual
