Dr Herman is the most compassionate, caring and skillled surgeon. Tasked with the thought of brain surgery, he made the journey the best imaginable. His entire staff showed confidence and understood the highly emotional side of undergoing something this stressful. 8 months later I can honestly say I would trust my life with his experience, knowledge and confidence and kind heart.

When they found the tumor and suggested brain surgery, I felt like it would be the end of my life. It was very stressful and I was so worried. But after I visited Dr.Herman's office, I felt a little more reassured. The receptionist, nurse Cindy and Dr.Herman's assistant (Dr.Jessica ) are very nice and helpful. I met Dr.Herman on my second visit and I felt the doctor is a very serious doctor. He gave a detailed explanation of what he would do and answered all my questions. At the end of the meeting he gave a slight comforting smile which made me more confident to have the surgery. The surgery day went exactly as planned. Dr Herman visited me before he started and several times after the surgery. He also sent assistants to do follow up. I couldn't thank him enough for all the nice professional work he has done for me.

Comes in 45 minutes after my appointment time and just tries to rush me out the door so he could get to whatever else was obviously more important than his patients. Can't imagine a worse experience. Don't know how he stays in business with such awful service and obviously not caring about his patients. BRUTAL

He saved my sons life, what else is there to say! He is a hero and a very nice man

Dr. Herman fixed my L5-S1 messed up spine that was locking up in 2001. It is now 2012 and I still believe he did a GREAT job. I hurt a different disk this week while saddling a very tall horse. I'm going back to Dr. Herman for help because he will FIX it. He listens! He is very good at his job! Pain gone. You won't regret getting his help!

Dr. Herman operated on me 3 times over 8 years. If it weren't for him I wouldn't be able to walk now. He is not "eager" to operate. Rather, he is very concerned with the patient's psychological readiness for surgery and it's consequences - it almost seems he's reluctant to operate unless he's convinced you're psychologically ready. He and his staff give as much follow up care as necessary. I can't imagine a better surgeon. I trust him completely
