Summary

Dr. Killinger joined the Division of Critical Care Medicine at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in 2007, after completing fellowship training at Columbia University Medical Center. In 2008 Dr. Killinger teamed with Dr. Samuel Weinstein, Chief of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery, to create the Pediatric Extracorporeal Life Support Service for neonatal and pediatric ECMO support for both cardiac and respiratory failure. Also in 2008, Dr. Killinger developed the Pediatric Medical Emergency Service providing Critical Care-level service to acute medical events throughout the medical center. In July 2011, Dr. Killinger was named Director of the Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Training Program.
