Dr. James Wade O'neal Iv, MD

Dr.ONeal was very professional and took alot of time with me to diagnosis the problems I was experiencing.

I took both my children to Dr. o'Neal as they had trouble with ear infections. They got ear tubes....and had their tonsils/adenoids taken out. He did a good job of explaining their condition to me.

Dr. O'Neal has performed 2 surgeries on my son (adenoids when he was 18 months old and tonsils, tubes and adenoids again when he was 4) and my son has never had a huge amount of pain afterwards. He had a bit of a fever after the last surgery and Dr. O'Neal got him in very quickly and evaluated him even though he was fine, they were very quick to make sure that was the case. I have used a different ENT for myself due to extreme sinus issues and he is fabulous about calling the day of surgery to check on me, and Dr. O'Neal doesn't do that. I know that is not the norm, but it is still a great touch that Dr. O'Neal may want to look into.

Dr. O'Neal is very professional. I knew I had a deviated nasal septum, but had no idea that my nasal turbinates were also enlarged. The surgery was just over a week ago, and already I can breathe better through my nose than ever before in my life. I just wish I hadn't delayed this surgery for so many years. My husband had had this procedure done by a different doctor many years ago, and he had a lot of pain during his recovery. He also had plugs placed into his nostrils during the procedure. Dr. O'Neal had used splints, and while I was nervous before my appointment to have them removed, the procedure to remove them was fast and did not hurt at all. I really like Dr. O'Neal, and the post-surgery results to date have been excellent.
