Dr. James J Paraiso, DO

I am very disappointed and will probably cancel the last appointment. I have had five appointments to see the Dr. Paraiso each time only to find that Annalee sees me, I do not want to see her, I need to see the Dr Paraiso to set up neck surgery Appt , Bill 11-21-1941

Wonderful caring doctor, one I would recommend

Not sure how the doctor is as a surgeon. The first visit I was dumbfounded when a nurse practitioner is the only person that was going to see me. After I questioned that choice she stated the next visit Dr. Paraiso would see me. after a month of PT I had my appointment and was shocked to find out that I was going to see a PA. I objected and she seemed irritated but said Dr Paraiso would be in shortly. When he came in it seemed as if he hadn't even looked at the MRI. Can you imagine my insurance company being billed 480.00 for a visit with a Nurse Practitioner. He determined to try injection to see if that would fix the problem or at least isolate which disc. His office staff answers to no one. 5 days out and they still haven't sent referral to doctor so I can schedule injection. I am now searching for spine surgeon that will actually see me in person.

Dr Paraiso is an amazing surgeon. I have suffered for years with horrid back pain. I had spinal fusion surgery with Dr Paraiso 11 days ago and my pain is gone.

After 6-8 months of test after tests, x-rays and MRI's I finally went to see Dr. Parisio office. The experience and results have been great.

Dr. Paraiso did my 2nd fusion in my back. I was very comfortable with him. However since my surgery 2-15 I have numbness down my left side and asked for an emergency appt. instead I waited almost three weeks to c him. His assistant Katie came in to c me first and asked if I would b willing to have another surgery to fix the problem, absolutely was my answer. Then dr. P came in said he can't find anything wrong and there is nothing more he can do for me. What did Katie c in my scan that he didn't, also he said I no longer had scoliosis when the report in my hand clearly said I did. I pointed that out to him and he got defensive. Did he even read the report because I did while I was waiting. Then my pain managent dr makes me an appointment for emg with a dr with a one star rating. Dr. Sharma. Well that appt. was today and I cxl'd it quickly. Is there a payoff of some kind I wonder. Dr. P is one of the best surgeons that I have to b clear on but y refer me to best surgeon and then worst… physiatrist.
