Unreliable Psychiatric Care He’s rarely available to talk with if you have a problem. Thought he was supposed to be great.

Dr P is an excellent psychiatrist and since I have moved a great deal in my life I have had to switch doctors. Dr P is the very best. He is extremely knowledgeable about medications and is a warm and caring doctor who really listens to his patients

If you or a loved one is over 60 years old, Dr. Pawlowski is a true blessing to you!! I’ve seen him many times. He loves to listen and shows much sympathy, he’s nice to a T! And I’ve seen a couple waiting to see him in the waiting room who had to be over 85 years young, so sweet. He told me he even makes visits to nursing homes to check on his patients, though maybe not presently with Covid-19. But that just shows how much he cares for the elderly population and that is highly commendable and very rare to find in a psychiatrist.

I have been seeing Dr. Pawlowski for close to two years. He has helped me immensely. I have over come so many obstacles. He is gentle, kind and very non judgemental which opens up the possibility of being completely honest about your struggles. I always feel better when I leave and stepping back and looking at where I was 2 years ago; I see a marked improvement. The process is gradual but if you give it time, it works. I am a female in my mid 40's and a lot of issues really got more intense hitting this stage in life which I have been told is not uncommon. He started off with being very sensitive to how much I could afford as he didn't want that to be an added stress so he does not push unnecessary appointments. I also once had to contact him off hours because of a mix up at the pharmacy and he got right back to me. When I have had something come up that I really needed help with he worked me in as soon as possible. He's a wonderful Dr. in my opinion and has given me great… coping techniques and understands the science of the mind and body and how it changes as we go through different stages of life. It is not easy to find a good Psychiatrist in Wilmington so I feel very fortunate to have found him. And the front desk is awesome. I just feel pure calm when I enter the doors. I would highly recommend him and if you don't vibe with him, he will refer you to someone else with no ill will whatsoever.

I saw him for many years and he helped me stay out of the hospital, which, if you feel helpless before you go in, you’ll feel even more helpless and uncared for while you’re there.

And Disappointing appointment. The doctor didn't seem to really be listening and he didn't seem to care. I had a referral to him. But he is an older man so maybe he is tired of listening to peoples problems. After reading a recent reviewer's post, maybe it's for the best that I find a different psychiatrist. I don't want to suddenly be dismissed by any doctor - much too hurtful to take.

I’ve been going to Dr. Pawlowski since he first began his practice in Wilmington. He’s kind, honest, and helpful. Thank goodness for people like him.

After going to Dr. Palowski for five years, he told me that he didn't want to see me again.The only difference that I know of was that I asked for a one hour appointment this time instead of the usual 30 minutes. He makes less money for a one hour appointment than for two half hour appointments. I have to admit I never saw this coming. I was seeing him because my primary doctor referred me to him. Until I was terminated, I would have given him 3 or 4 stars.

It's never easy finding someone in the medical profession that you can trust with your very being. Dr. Pawlowski is one of those that you can feel comfortable in knowing he has your best interests in mind and is trustworthy. I realize people are differnt and have varying conditions and therefore I will not comment on other reviews however, for me (mid-forties male, married w/children) suffering from the daily stresses of life...he has made a profound difference and has helped tremendously.

I have been using this Doctor for over a year now, he has been a big help, in battling PTSD, BTI. He is trustworthy and I appreciate what he has helped me accomplish, just remember when seeing a shrink it takes time, that is my biggest deal want results quicker
