Dr. James Robert Rappaport, MD

According to the people that would talk to me the surgery was a success I have yet to speak with Rappaport himself 15 days post surgery not impressed with presurgey either

Went to him twice. First time waited 1.5 hours. He spent 3 minutes, said I needed several tests before surgery and needed my doctor to sign off that I was healthy enough for surgery. He said he would do a complete exam next visit. I had ekg and blood work and got doctors signature. On my second appt with surgeon, I waited an hour and he said I should have a cortisone shot because Medicare would want that done before covering it. That appointment was 5 minutes. The tests he had asked me to get were no longer valid because they had to be done within 28 days. He said his office would call me about scheduling a shot. It’s been 2 weeks and no call. I found a better surgeon!

Caring office staff, fast and thorough diagnostic workup, great treatment plan and results! VERY skilled and knowledgeable physician. No other orthopedic office I would consider or trust like I do Dr. Rappaport's office.

Excellent surgeon. Dr. Rappaport did a neck fusion and I have recovered completely and have almost totally normal mobility in my neck, and a normal lower pain life.

i don't think he is a very good doctor, remember it is easier for a camel to go thru a needle then a rich person to get intp heaven

I spent more time with his PA BUT, he is very through! My spinal surgery was incredibly painless!!!!

Awesome Doctor was very professional and was not afraid to tell like it is and what the affects of my actions would be after my Back surgery...

I was referred to Dr. Rappaport by Univ of Calif Medical Center in San Francisco. He had to do two revision surgeries to fix a botched back surgery by a highly advertised spine center in Reno. It has been almost a year now and I am nearly pain free. Dr. Rappaport is an excellent surgeon I would highly recommend.

Doctor can't be trust. Point Blank.

Accurately diagnosed my problem, bad previous surgery from other spine center; has been most helpful and gone out of his way to help.
