Combative and lazy. Don’t waste your time.

Dr Koenig did my hip replacement in 2018 he did a great job.

Dr. Koenig is the most professional along with the office staff. I have had my hip replacement since 2006, and I have never felt better.. I recommend to anyone that needs his services to seek him & his staff out.

I worked with Dt. Koenig in the OR for three years. I have heard he is a good surgeon but he is a pain in the a** Everytime he did not get his way he would whine to anyone who would listen. He would also operate in the hallway if he was allowed. His partner Jorge Cerruti is a gentleman, classy and an excellent surgeon. He did a total knee replacement on my mom 16 years ago and I was very satisfied with the outcome. If you can put with Jan Koenig's temper tantrums then he is the doctor for you

I had a knee replacement done 4 weeks ago by Dr Koenig. The replacement was so good that within 3 days they took me off a walker and put me on a cane. I had no pain at all from the surgery. The outpatient pt I am going to is amazed at the work that was done. How quickly I am moving close to normal. I give DR Koenig and his team the credit for this as I could barely walk prior to the surgery. If you need orthopaedic work done go to this group.

Dr. Koenig office is the most unprofessional experience I have ever witnessed In My life. His PA James openly told my father “there is nothing anyone can do!!!” Offering no hope or treatment for his issues with his debilitating pain. I had to offer the question “what about PT” and met with a response “ oh like go??” ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! No hope or treatment offer and sent away welling up with thoughts of living with no hope. A DR’s job is to always offer, research, try and give some hope to the patients not see them live in excruciating pain with nothing to live for. For the first time in my life I saw my father upset too the point of tears. I made one phone call to a family friend whom is a orthopedic surgeon whom is taking my dads case. Thank you god.. but, 25 years myself of being a EMT-CC and in the medical field I promise from this day fourth to make my voice heard the experience and what I witnessed today so it never happens to anyone ever again. I had a total knee replacement in 2013. Mercy medical center. Dr. Koenig was kind, professional, and did a wonderful job. It was the best thing I could've done he gave me my life back.

I just had the knee since Tuesday am very upset reading negative review above. My experience is 100% different. Swelling Saturday he called me and his covering and no problem. Said & did call back Sunday plus I had cell. The entire office, Winthrop's Ortho group and the hospital are top notch. In Westchester but worth the commute.

Dr. Koenig was highly recommended by a few of my friends and business associates. He and his asst. made my experience of getting a hip replacement a much easier transition than I expected. You do not have to go to NYC to get great results. Mercy Hospital is the hospital that Dr. Koenig uses and I was happy with their service as well.
