Dr. Jane G Schweitzer, MD

Unfortunately, she is not in Falmouth any more.

I find Dr. Schweitzer very nice, extremely gentle when touching my face and putting in drops, etc. However, I find the staff not that polite or friendly. I called today because Dr. Schweitzer had indicated that the office had samples of the eye drops I use in case I needed more before I can refill my prescription. I was told there are no samples and Dr.Schweitzer is not in today. I tried to talk to another assistant, but was transferred back to the original one. Very disappointing, not to mention scary, that I might be without the eye drops for a week.

She diagnosed something in five minutes that 4 other doctors had been treating me for incorrectly for 5 weeks.

The woman doctor needs an evaluation. Distracted and self involved.

Some mental and other psychiatric issues going on with this physician.Rude abrupt and somewhat angry.Very strange.

This young lady should not be a physician.There is some strange behavior or mental abnormalities concerning this lady. I felt like I wanted to get out of there as soon as I could.I will never go there again.

I highly recommend Dr. Schweitzer. When I think of her,tears come to my eyes. She is a wonderful doctor who is extremely dedicated to her profession. When I started loosing my eyesight to a rare form of uveitis, she painstakingly and beyond the call of duty, worked desparatly to find out why I was loosing my sight. She ran every test she could think of until the day I lost my eyesight and went blind. I called her and told her I had lost my sight and she rushed me to Mass Eye and Ear where I was diagnosised with Vogt-Koyangi-Harada Syndrome. I was told I would never see again. I regained my eyesight within 15 months of getting this disease because of her care. If it wasn't for her hardwork and caring, I would not be seeing today. I have been clear of the disease for 2 years now because of her. During my hour of need, she was so caring and supportive. I will never forget how she would call me to see how I was doing and she was my shoulder to literally cry on when my world seemed so… hopeless. She has been my doctor for the last 6 years. Anyone who is in need of a dedicated, highly knowledgable Ophthalmologist,you can trust; especially, when you don't know who to turn to when your are scared as heck and your situation is so unbearable, she is definitely the doctor for you. She is truly a wonderful doctor with absolutely know exaggeration. Thank you so much Dr. Schweitzer for giving me back my life. I have gone on to graduate from UMass Dartmouth with an accounting degree this year : )

Dr. Schweitzer diagnosed my vision problem and prescribed treatment. She explained the care involved and any side effects of the medication, which helped reduce my anxiety. My sight is better than ever, thanks to Dr. Schweitzer; now I tell my friends that when I say I'm going to see my grandkids, I can really See them now! Very pleased with her, I would recommend her to all.
