Dr. Jason Nicholas Camu, PhD

Dr. Camu provides a comfortable setting for me to vent my frustrations and to get to the issues that are of concern. He is great at catching things that I didn't realize and helping me to get perspective on my life situations. When I walk out, I feel ready to handle my situations. He doesn't sit there and nod.. he gives real feedback. He understands me and can keep up with questions and concerns. I appreciate his insight and how I can arrive at new ways to deal. Dr. Camu's approach works for me; it's a break from my hectic life and a place to re-fuel. I am beginning to accept myself and handle the overwhelming situations with his help. We get to the real issues and what matters to me. I started seeing him in 2009 when I divorced and was facing a lot of life changing situations. I feel like I have come a long way in learning how to handle my stress and have regained some strength. Life is not perfect and it isn't for anyone.. Dr. Camu is flexible with how to run sessions… customizing them to what I need. Sometimes it is problem solving, sometimes it is self-reflecting. I also interrupt when I have a lot on my mind and he is able to keep up with me. Thank you Dr Camu!
