Dr. Jay Berkley Reeck, MD

Was referred to Dr. Reeck for consideration of some way to open up my nasal passages. An ENT 15 years earlier had insisted I needed surgery. Dr. Reeck spent time adequately and simply explaining that he indeed could do surgery to open the passages more, but that he could not guarantee the surgery would make a big difference on ease of breathing through my nose. He also explained that while I did have a narrowed passage especially on one side, he did not consider it to be extreme. In the end I understood that probably my condition at this point fell more in the elective rather than necessary surgical category. I appreciated his explanation and honesty. A very pleasant visit and an ENT I would recommend and return to later if I felt indicated.

Dr Reek has been working with my 10 year old since he was 3. Even at 3, when he needed surgery, my son absolutely loved him and his staff. When we moved to Portland for 4 years, we were so disappointed with our doctor/care after having had such a great experience with Dr Reek. When we moved back here 2 years ago, we re-established care with him and have not been disappointed. He has such a great bedside manner as well as being a great doctor.

Is rare to find someone with such talent and compassion.

Dr. Reeck used a scope up my nose for diagnostic purposes. he is thorough, warm and friendly. Take time with you. It is a pleasure to have him as my doctor.

A great Doctor and Skilled Surgeon. Dr Reeck took the time to connect one on one with me. The appointments were not rushed. He listened to me and answered all of my questions. After surgery he spent the time to explain the outcome of the procedure to my wife and I. My wife said that was the longest time a Surgeon and ever spent talking to her after a surgury
