I was also almost denied a visit even though I was 15 minutes early for my appointment. I came in with complaints of a big tonsil stone stuck in my throat and a growth developing in the back of my mouth, along with pain while I sing or if I talk for long periods of time. Ater 3 months of waiting for an appointment he checked my throat for no more than 30 seconds. He specifically asked me if I had OCD, after I told him I did he told me that 'I have no stones or growth in my throat', and that 'he knows I want my tonsils removed'. He recommended I buy a water pick for future issues with tonsil stones. I asked him to make sure it is noted in my chart that I am having these discomforts and that this is his recommendation for them, and he told me that he will put whatever he wants in my chart. The day after my appointment I removed 2 tonsil stones from my throat and another one today (two days later) but the larger one I went in for is still stuck in there
