I had several levels of my lumbar spine fused. The surgery was an anterior posterior fusion with 4 titanium rods. 18 years later I am running , walking sitting, dancing, LIVING a great quality of life. THANK YOU DOC!!!!!!

Had surgery to correct spinal rod problem from previous surgery, now can longer work, drive or most importantly walk. have drop foot & rsd from surgery. Immense pain .

He did a scoliosis stabilization surgery on me in 2008, and 9 years later I am active, pain free and every day grateful for that surgery.

Dr. Farcy operated on me a number of years ago. He was the most, courteous, kindly, pro-active physician I may have ever seen. I could continue with positive experiences with Dr. Farcy, yet, in the interest of verbal economy (!!), please know, in every aspect, Dr. Farcy was superb.

In 2000, I saw Dr. Farcy. I was in debilitating car accident fractured several vertebrae in addition to having a lifetime of issues with failed scoliosis spinal surgeries and flatback syndrome. I was humpty-dumpty and he put me back together again! He is a master. He had the hand of an artist and the brains of a scientist and the gift of compassion - tough love like. He gave you the verdict straight no sugar coated, but he coax and challenged you to be your best the entire journey. After seeing near a dozen other surgeons who gave song and dance and not much substance, my family in desparation to see me walk and work as a whole person again, did extensive searches with me, since they watched me from the age of 13 deal with the hard-knocks life dealing with this debilitating disease. My mother found a video on FOX news interviewing Dr. Farcy and he discussed his techniques (wearing a wonderful bow tie! He was so delightful) and I spent hours pouring over information he posted and… published to determine if I should spend the time and money to fly all the way to New York to pay a visit I had limited funds and limited time since the pain was getting worse by the day. I took my sister (who was a nurse) with me. Istill remember to this day, the feeling we both had. Finally, after his exam and evaluations and questions, I realized I found the doctor of my dreams that was going to fix the problem! My sister concurred. And I felt comfortable that in his hands and Gods direction, they would create a miracle. Now for anyone who has never lived with a debilitating disease that is chronic like scoliosis, it is difficult to explain the relief and hope when you get that "aha" moment. It's kind of like when marrying your prince after you've dated a hundred frogs! My recovery was long and the surgery painful - but that was anticipated and to be expected. But Dr. Pierre Farcy along with Dr. Frank Schwabb, who was the Tonto to Farcy's Lone Ranger, gave me back my life again. I still have limitations. I went from running marathons to bed ridden back in the saddle again - walking, playing tennis, living as normal a life as can be expected and grateful that the pain is gone He may not remember me but I remember him. And that is a testimony to the hippocratic oath that a doctor of excellence lives by - though shall not do harm only help. If Dr. Farcy is still practicing, I encourage you to seek out his care. If not, I suggest you seek his professional opinion on whom best to carry on on his behalf that would replicate his type of work. He dedicated his life to helping ours make the most of theirs. All in all, he was a great man, human being, and doctor. Best of luck to any of the readers of this review. Twenty years ago Dr Farcy save my life, after a terrible car accident in New Jersey I broke my pelvis and my hip, there was not even one Doctor able to perform my surgery in jersey, only three Doctors in the country were able to do it, my life change after I was transfered to Columbia Presbiterian in New york. He was waiting for me and did my surgery the next day. The surgery was very sucessful and after that day Dr Farcey gave back my life, God first then Dr Farcy I hope he remembers me...............

I travelled from Ireland to have surgery for Flatback syndrome with Dr Farcy. He is the kindest most skilled doctor you will ever have the good fortune to meet and he has changed my life. I am eternally grateful.

Dr Farcy is one of the most compaaionate doctors I have ever met. He took wonderful care of my daughter and fixed her spine issue. We will always be extremely grateful to Dr Farcy.
