Dr. Jean Yun, MD

Dr Jean Yun is a very poor doctor, she operated on my tendon when there was no need too, she injured my arm causing severe nerve injury. Caution !

This office only has one assistant, who is rude and nasty. This assistant runs the front end of the office, preps the rooms for the patients (including the injections) and does all the approvals for the procedures and answers calls. The wait time to see Dr. Yun can run upwards to an hour (and this is with an appointment). The wait time to get a report, that is already in the chart is upwards to 3 hours, no joke! Three hours sitting there in the waiting room for the assistant to just copy the one-page report for you. She will not email, fax or mail the report to you. The only way for you to get this report is if you sit in the room and wait for her to copy it for you, when she feels like it. This pattern was carried out over more than 5 office visits and multiple phone calls. However, the worst part is the condescending, degrading attitude of the assistant. One would think that this was the only orthopedic office in NYC! And, unfortunately, Dr. Yun isn’t that much better, a… little better, but not much. She wants you in an out, no questions asked. Maybe they are overworked. If that is the case, they need to decrease their work load and hire more people, but as a patient (any my procedure is over) there is no way I am ever going back! My advice to all who is referred here, RUN AWAY!
