Dr. Jeffrey M Abbott, DO

Messed my knee up when he did my knee replacement!! My knee is worse than it was before he did my knee replacement!! Over a year and I’m still in severe pain every single day!!

This review has nothing to do with Dr Abbott himself. My father is in incredible pain with a knee injury. He cannot sit, stand, walk, or sleep. He was referred to Dr Abbott's office to schedule an appointment. He's been waiting for 3 days to simply get a call back to schedule an appointment to see Dr Abbott. He has received no call. Dr Abbott should be aware that his staff has been negligent in scheduling appointments. My dad will be going to the ER today. I don't understand what would be so difficult about simply scheduling an appointment. You look at a calendar, you call the patient, and you suggest open times. This is very disappointing and anyone attempting to schedule an appoint with Dr Abbott should be aware of this.

I have been there 4 times and have yet to see Sr. Abbott. I had to wait over a month to start the gel injections since I had previously had steroid injections. The gel injections were over a three week period and the last one was a week ago. I am in more pain than ever and called yesterday to see if I could get a prescription for Motrin 800. I did not receive a return call and called back now. Explained everything again and was told that I had to give it at least another two weeks to see if they would work. Suggested I get over the counter medication. I will never go back and will be calling New Albany for surgery.

Hands down the best Orthopedic Surgeon in the whole Pittsburgh area.....

Dr. Abbot is very patient in explaining what the problem is what he will be doing. He has great bedside manner both in his office and in the hospital.

He is exceptional! Sees patients at every visit and cares about every one as if they were the only one! Great sense of humor and explains every procedure in understandable terms.
