Dr. Jeffrey Wade Cook, MD

Dr. Cook did my surgery last year, and for the last year I have only seen him at my 4 week post op apt and then again last week. I always end up seeing his PA for my follow ups. Evan, his PA, is amazing. He is the real star of the practice. He is compassionate, listens and provides helpful feedback. At my appointment last week, I was shocked to see Dr. Cook walk through the door. As I said I hadn’t seen him since 4 weeks post op. I mentioned a few things that still don’t feel normal, and his response didn’t really address anything I was saying. It was like he was going off of a script and couldn’t deviate because I wasn’t fitting in his perfect little text book. He seemed agitated when I kept trying to get him to address my concerns. At one point, he went to explain something to me and then stopped mid way and threw his arms up like he didn’t want to be bothered explaining the rest. I was really disappointed by my last appointment. I let this man operate on me, and he treated me with… complete disrespect. I gave an extra star ONLY because of Evan... and to be fair, his nurse is quite wonderful as well. This doctor needs to learn bedside manner for sure. I had just a few concerns about MY healing and Dr. Cook took it as a personal attack and I can’t quite understand why.

Excellent Doctors and staff

Eager to get tests run, then have to make another appointment to get results. Really? I have to drive all the way in to get a result that could be given over the phone? Lame. Front desk very rude when I asked to get my results over the phone. Would NOT recommend at all.

This office was in a rush to perform surgery to correct a problem. A second opinion confirmed otherwise. Today, I am doing well without the "needed" surgery. Also, check your bill carefully. Confusing statements.

A REAL person answered the phone and got me in that day! They were all so nice to me. Surgery and recovery went very well...am sending everyone I know over there.

Dr. Cook was great in his diagnosis and worked with me so that I didn't need surgery.

Dr. Cook misdiagnosed my badly broken foot and I have been walking around on 4 nonunion fractures for 3 months now. Everytime I went back to him to tell him my foot still hurts everday I was told to "keep your chin up." I now have to have a bone graft to fix my foot from a doctor that actually listens to me.
