By far the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Schedule at your own risk.

Best insurance won’t matter, they will figure out how to make a copay visit several hundred dollars. Con job!

WORTH THE READ!!! After 2 1/2 decades of dealing with sinus infections and excruciating recurrent migraines with no great answer, nor relief from previous specialist; I finally met the best ENT specialist Dr Taffet, that I have ever come across. Dr. Taffet went above and beyond in ruling out conditions and narrowing down answers to what the root cause of my health issue was and I will forever be grateful! Dr Taffet’s team first started with a hearing test by a real audiologist which I was so excited because I felt that my hearing had been deteriorating in recent years; what a relief it was to learn that my hearing was fine. Then I met Dr. Taffet, he was so patient in hearing about all of the symptoms that I had been dealing with for so long. Dr. Taffet was empathetic, professional, and displayed great bedside manners WHAT!?!, this was unbelievable! Dr. Taffet immediately provided me with instructions on what I needed to get started on (Nasal Lavages), while completing further… testing’s i.e. MRI, etc. My follow up appointment was scheduled right after the test results; staff was a pleasure to deal with, took their time with me on the phone in order to find an appointment that would work around my schedule. I was promptly seen upon arriving, Dr. Taffet went over the test results, answered all of my questions in depth yet in a manner that I understood what he was talking about. Dr Taffet provided multiple options for me; in my case, surgery was not the first thing he recommended and I had some reservations about surgery as well given that I had never had a surgery done on me before. Dr Taffet and I came up with a 6 month plan and was encouraged to contact the office if relief of my symptoms did not improve. Unfortunately, living where I lived did not help my symptoms as they worsened so I returned back to the Biltmore ENT office. Dr Taffet revisited my case and options, surgery was the best at that time and after providing answers to all of my questions and concerns I agreed to have the Septoplasty done. Dr Taffet and his team were sooo amazing, provided support and addressed any concerns that I had. I followed every single instruction provided to me prior to and after surgery (THIS IS KEY). Returned for my post-operative follow up and again Dr Taffet and the office staff were supportive through the post-op process. Upon leaving the ENT office, for the first time in over 2 decades I smelled things that I didn’t even recognize and had to ask my cousin to identify what was in the air...I couldn’t believe it. Since my surgery I have not had any sinus migraines, I have been able to breathe without struggling as I was before, I am sleeping better every night, and as an added bonus I am smelling things (not always good haha), that I hadn’t smelled before. Dr Taffet expertise, improved my quality of life beyond measures that I have ever imagined!!! ***I STONGLY RECOMMEND AND STAND BEHIND DR.TAFFET AND HIS TEAM BECAUSE THEY HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER!!!!***

Afar having a sinus infection for 3 months I finally sought help from Dr. Taffet!! Why have I not done this sooner... I don't know. All I care about is that I FINALLY did. He worked around my needs and got me to BREATHE again… in time for vacation and a big upcoming speech. He cared about me as a patient and I cannot be more grateful!!

Dr. Taffet is one of the best doctors around! He is honest and direct and is very easy to talk to and with. He truly does care about his patients and will spend the time required to take care of the patient. I have been seeing him for longer than I can actually remember (at least ten (10) years I think). Everyone should be thankful to have him as a physician!!

I have never met someone so ignorant, unproffesional and just rude... We had a horrible experience with Jeffrey Taffet. The appointment was for my 6 year old son who has bad allergies and needs his tosils removed. He didn't care to ask my sons history... Within minutes he was talking about surgery and how miserable it is. He told me I'd have to give my son so much water afterwards I'd want to shoot myself in the head... (With my three children in the room) He smashed on former patients who we're "idiotic & fat". He told my son he was overweight as he patted his stomach. He told us he had to threaten a former patient... A little girl with a needle for an IV, so she would drink water. It was one thing after the next. I could not believe what was coming out of his mouth. Once I collected myself I told him I was not OK with how he was talking , it was not okay how he was bashing former patients. How he was scaring my child and insulting him. I told him we were leaving and would see a… different doctor. He responded by rolling his eyes, and saying pppfftt... Whatever. He really upset my children and I. It was beyond unproffessional and I have no idea how this guy has a job. There is no way I would ever have the respect or trust for him to touch anyone I know. On top of it all he sent me a letter afterwards suggesting I get therapy... This guy is HORRIBLE!

I LOVED Dr Taffet!

Dr Taffet has saved my life twice.The 1st time he found a rare and aggressive cancer in my nasal pharynx. He had already set up referals for me with all the various Oncologist I needed before my follow up appointment from the surgery to remove the tumor. He explained the proceeduers I would be going through and taught me how to avoid slipping through the cracks by keeping good notes and records. Several times during my treatments I had to go to the Emergency room due to side effects of Radiation or Chemo and the info he taught me to keep streamlined the process since the Doctors could read my notes and review all my records which were kept in a binder that I always took to any Dr Appointment. He just removed my Thyroid becasue the radiation had caused it to become cancerous. The cancer was caught before it had a chance to spread and was small enough that all the cancer was removed with the thyroid. Meeting this doctor has been a Godsend. Thank you Dr. Taffet for saving my life.
