Dr, Oppenheim met me with respect and full support from our first meeting. He explained to me what my body was experiencing and informed me the needed steps moving forward. He clearly explained and helped me to understand the remedy needed and offered me as much time as I needed for questions. I felt safe and confident in his care. Dr. Oppenheim is masterful. He is kind and compassionate. He is a man of integrity and I always felt safe and knew that I was in good hands. These qualities are very important when we are looking for a doctor that we can trust and one we will feel safe with while in their care. Dr. Oppenheim met me on all of these levels. Dr. Oppenheim is an amazing surgeon and caring human being. After 3 consultations and reviewing my MRI he recommended a partial laminectamy. After the procedure there was no pain. There are no words to express my gratitude for Dr. Oppenheim. He is an amazing surgeon and human being. I was in unbearable pain, and had to undergo an emergency lumbar discectomy. The care and compassion I received from Dr Oppenheim was exceptional. Dr Oppenheim thoroughly explained the procedure prior to surgery, and addressed all of my questions and concerns. The surgery went better then I expected, and I was able to go on my cruise 10 days later. A few months have passed since the surgery, and I have never felt better. I am forever grateful to Dr. Oppenheim, he is a truly phenomenal neurosurgeon, and I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Oppenheim is the best! I knew when I was sent to Good Samaritan Hospital STAT and recognized his very reputable name that I was in good hands and felt a great relief from my fears of needing Brain surgery due to Brain Bleeds and Hematoma from a car accident. I was petrified but honestly, as soon as I saw his kind smile and mannerism I was able to relax immediately. Knowing I was in the best of hands I didn't ask much more and before I knew it , I was waking up after a successful Brain surgery and he literally saved my life. Was experiencing horrible pain running down by glute, radiating to my hip and down to the lower portion of my leg. Tried physical therapy for weeks with no improvement. An MRI revealed a large facet joint cyst. Our options as presented were an epidural providing temporary relief or surgery. Initial consult with Dr. Oppenheim put both my wife and I at ease regarding surgery and we both came to the conclusion that surgery was the best option. He explained the surgery procedure in layman’s terms and was very personable. I am now pain free and have my quality of life back. Dr. Oppenheim and his entire staff have been consummate professionals and took care of everything in terms of answering questions, scheduling covid test, and preclearance. I can’t thank Dr. Oppenheim enough for the quality of his care and immediate pain relief I experienced.

When I needed emergency back surgery I had little choice in the provider that was brought in by the hospital. I had heard great things about Dr. Oppenheim through my endocrinologist and was relieved that he was the physician on call. He was warm and personable and his deep experience made a very stressful situation more comfortable for me. My pain has been reduced and I am on the road to recovery. I continue to follow up with Dr. Oppenheim and he continues to be helpful and caring as my healing continues. His office staff is very attentive. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Oppenheim is amazing. He literally saved my life. After my MRI results the hospital quickly made a decisions to transfer me down to good samaritan and put me in ICU I had a herniated disc flipping backwards tearing into my spinal cord dr Oppenheim told me I was a twist r turn to possibly paralyzed I couldn't control my bladder I was losing all sensation and feeling and I couldnt walk he did emergency surgery on me and it changed my whole life. The next day I was up and walking and pain free...I have alot of recovery to do yes and learning how to walk properly...but he saved and changed my life forever. Hes one of the top neurosurgeons and I couldnt have been more blessed to be transferred down immediately to have him work on me. He said I was one of the worst cases he has seen in 15 years. He explained everything to me and knowing how scared I was he calmed everything down. From thinking you will never walk again to walking and being normal its it's amazing... he called me on his… cell phone for a follow up.hes just amazing I am 31 years old and almost lost my ability to walk...he did this surgery and saved my life. I will NEVER go to any other neurosurgeon in my life but him...he deserves so much. I advise you to go to him if you have any issues. He had also had done brain surgery on my boyfriends mom it's just a blessing I got sent to him I will never forget this man he gave me back my life I wish I could give a million stars because he deserves alot more than 5!
