Dr. Jeffrey Thomas, MD

Dr. Jeffrey E. Thomas is a highly specialized neurosurgeon with expertise in Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery and Interventional Neuroradiology. He uniquely combines microsurgery and minimally-invasive catheter-based endovascular procedures to treat cerebral aneurysms and vascular brain lesions. Dr. Thomas is one of fewer than 120 neurosurgeons in the U.S. trained in both types of surgery for complex brain disorders. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at Columbia University and received advanced training through his neurosurgical residency, fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology at Thomas Jefferson University, and a research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Board-certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Thomas has been a leader in developing comprehensive cerebrovascular care, now providing stroke, aneurysm, and vascular disease treatments at Washington Hospital in Fremont, CA.
