Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I wanted to help people! Nursing allows you to help a person during a difficult time in their life. After being a nurse for more than 14 years, I decided it was time to advance my career as a CRNP. Mental health/behavioral health has always been a passion of mine. The brain is amazing. If you don't have a healthy brain, you don't have a healthy body or life!What I want my patients to know about me:As a CRNP, I will care for all patients with kindness, dignity, and compassion. I believe in combination treatment with pharmacological and non-pharmacologic methods will result in the best patient outcomes. I use current, evidence-based practice for all treatment plan goals and actively collaborate with patients for the best treatment plan options.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:Spending time with family and friends is a priority for me! I enjoy traveling and spending time at the Delaware beaches. I love animals and currently have one dog …and a bearded dragon. I also enjoying cooking and finding new recipes to try for my loved ones.
