Dr. Jesse Seth Greenblum, MD

Just a heads up for any moms in the area — I had an awful experience with this doctor. I came in with clear postpartum hormone symptoms, and he literally laughed and said hormone issues are an “old wives’ tale/myth.” He told me everything was normal because I have a period again. Regardless of having a baby 5 months ago and experiencing a plethora of hormonal issues. No interest in testing, no real answers, just outdated and dismissive. Seemed to become increasingly annoyed when I voiced my opinion. Being able to have access to your own hormones levels after having a baby should be welcomed rather than argued about by a male provider who’s never experienced female hormonal issues or pregnancy for that matter. Please advocate for yourselves and find a provider who takes women’s health seriously.

After my second visit yesterday I was just over this doctor office!! I have been having very painful and heavy periods with a lot of pelvic pain and constant pressure on my bladder.. I was told I have a small fibroid and possibly endometriosis. Dr. Greenblum stated that he didn’t think it was the fibroid causing the pain because it was small and leaned more towards endometriosis. I asked if I could get the procedure to confirm and make sure that it is endometriosis and he stated that there was nothing that he could do because of the type of insurance I have and they wouldn’t cover it. Which is a lie, I have a coworker who has the same problems as me with the same insurance that goes to another office, and the laparoscopy was covered and she has the procedure coming up. He didn’t try to help or even offer to remove the fibroid to see if that would give me any relief at all and just told me to keep taking the birth control and come back in 6 months. He does not have his patients best… interest at heart and only cares about if he will make any money from the procedures. He doesn’t even have a chart or anything to remember anything we discussed from the last visit and was repeating things we had already discussed and tried. He didn’t even try to send anything to my insurance company to try to get an approval at all for the procedure. I felt so depressed after my visit yesterday because I felt uncared for. I’ve been in so much pain that it’s frustrating and irritating not knowing what’s going on and not having a resolution to the problem. Not everyone cares about you as a patient and are only interested in doing anything for you only if it benefits them. Now I’m having to change OBGYN’s because I need someone who cares about my concerns and my overall health, because this is affecting my day to day life mentally and physically.

First time there. He wasn't very helpful in what I should do with health issues. Which I told I have gone numerous cycles 3 months at a time no period which concerns me he said he couldn't help me with that couldn't even recommended anything and my loss of libido....he said he can put me on birth control... now why would he do that if on my chart it should say I've had a tubal ligation.... unless he didn't bother to look at chart .My doctor recommended me to him for my issues but he said he couldn't help me. Did do a pap smear which I needed to get. But never said anything about a breast exam just added that to it I guess to charge the insurance more. Usually when I get a pap done they don't do breast exam unless it's needed. Found that to be weird. Anyways even parking was horrible I couldn't find no where to even park I think I drove around like 20 mins to find a parking.

Best Ob Gyn I have ever been to! Dr. Greenblum delivered both my daughters and he was amazing- he took time to listen to me and is very caring. I have recommended him to everyone I know

I would recommend Dr. Greenblum to anyone. Being of "advanced maternal age", Dr. Greenblum was very supportive and encouraging throughout my pregnancy and delivery. I ended up having a C section. The surgery was smooth and fast, recovery great, after care stupendous. I only wish he was also a pediatrician so I could bring my newborn son to him as well.

Dr. Greenblum is a fantastic doctor i live in georgia and drive the 45 mins to his office he has delivered my two children and wouldnt have it any other way. i really appreciate everything him and his staff do.

Dr. Greenblum is a wonderful physician- kind, caring and an excellent doctor. He saw me right away, diagnosed my problem and began treatments. The office is nice and the staff is friendly!
