Dr. Jessica Ellen Blumenthal

I have been seeing Dr. Blumenthal since her first week with this office. She is an exceptional Dr. and her staff are all friendly and courteous.

She is the absolute BEST!!! I love her! When she is with you -you are the only person that matters in that moment! She is very encouraging and such a pleasure to see!

Dr. Blumenthal is awesome-she cares about the patient and is understanding.

Dr Blumenthal has a great bedside manner. She is caring and is interested in what is happening with you beyond just your visit and immediate needs. I would recommend her to anyone.

Much better options in the area...She is rude, self-absorbed, and has a horrible office staff.They lost some important paperwork of mine, I overheard Dr. Blumenthal talking openly about another patient...ummm, Privacy Act???, and she doesn't seem to care about you long term. You are just a paycheck for her...

Horrible practice. Incredibly rude office staff. Lost important paperwork. Heard Dr. discussing private patient information within ear-shot. Has treated several members of my family and some friends as well, poor reviews all around.

This Dr. Does not seem to take complaints seriously regardless of the complaint. Always seems to be in a rush. Seems to know more than the patient does about the patient's own pain. I Had this dr. and this practice, for three pregnancies. During first pregnancy, this paticular doctor, almost punctured my uterus during a d&c for a missed miscarriage, she then had to perform laproscopy to see if she had. During second pregnancy didn't have her as often. During third pregnancy, I had bleeding at nine weeks when I called about this, this doctor told me to lie down and rest, that there was nothing they could do. This seems to be an insensitive response. I was also told by one of their nurses that if a pregnacy was viable it could become unviable at anytime. This was a disturbing response. Thankfully regardless of the bleeding our baby continued to be "viable". On one occasion, I overheard the doctor complaining about wanting to leave on time, when the nurse was giving her patient… information. Also during third pregnancy I came into the hospital for agonizing pain in upper right abdomen, she checked me for bladder infection, preterm labor, did no blood work, and sent me away crying. During this paticular visit she told me she was 100% sure there was nothing wrong with me or my baby. 100% sure with no blood work? She attributed my pain to normal aches and pains of pregnancy which was not a comfort given that if this were the case, it gave me no hope of resolve for the duration of the pregnancy. Ofcourse I'd been pregnant before so, I personally know the normal aches and pains of pregnancy (ligament stretching, heart burn). Anyways her 100%, was 100% wrong and I believe the pain must have been a virus I developed after this incidence which I believe could be considered "something wrong". In conclusion it seemed to me, as long as you're not in preterm labor this healthcare professional really doesn't seem to care!! Even though Preterm labor is not the only condition during pregnancy that requires treatment. Thanks to this Dr. at twenty seven weeks, I'm having to find a new dr.
