Dr. Jessica K Laursen is wonderful and caring. I'm an adult in my 50's and have several eye surgeries through my childhood. I went in to see her about my concerns with my eyes changing. She was very thorough in discussing my concerns and explaining things to me, along with risk of surgery. She made me feel very confident in my choice and having her perform eye surgery on me. My recovery has been good and each visit with her, I wish I had a doctor like her when I was a child going through this. I can't thank her enough for her care and hands in operating on my eyes. I would recommend her to anyone needing eye surgery. J. Petersen

What she lacks in decorum she makes up with her knowledge. I would recommend this doctor. Has been treating my grandson for the last 3 years and he is in good hands. I travel from south bay all the way to vista to see her. Good Doctor!!! Stop complaining and put your personal "comments" and look at the great care this doctor provides to your children.

Dr. Laursen expertly diagnosed and competently treated our then 5 year old son over the course of a solid 1-1/2 years with numerous follow up appointments. She patiently explained his diagnoses and course of treatment for our son and he responded perfectly. Solid outcome for our little guy and I am now a patient of Dr. Laursen. Her staff also great.

Terrible bedside manner. Extremely inconsiderate and for someone with kids of her own, she definitely does not put herself in her patients shoes. I did not waste my time driving all the way to Vista to just chit chat with her. i went because I was clearly concerned for my child's eyes. I would not recommend her to anyone, but sadly she and another doctor are the only pediatric ophthalmologists available through kaiser.
